3rd Feb 2026 (8 mo. ago)We rented a property in Chingford from 1 February 2026 through Claremont Estates. Zak and Mafiz acted as a great bridge between us, the landlord, and Goodlord. The entire end-to-end process was smooth, efficient, and well explained step by step. The property was professionally cleaned and met a high standard. Everything was handled properly, and we are very satisfied with the experience.
2nd Oct 2026 (25 days ago)I had an excellent experience with Angelina at GLP.<br><br>During more than a month of searching for a flat in London, she was the only agent who consistently followed up with me, stayed in touch, and genuinely tried to understand what I was looking for.<br><br>What really made Angelina stand out was that I never felt she was simply trying to “sell” me a property or close a deal. Unlike many other agents I dealt with during my search, I felt that her priority was actually to help me find the right home. That difference in approach was very clear and something I truly appreciated.<br><br>She was consistently professional, reliable, responsive and genuinely helpful throughout the process.<br><br>Even after dealing with many different estate agents in London, Angelina was the one who stood out the most. I would absolutely recommend her and GLP, and she will be the first person I recommend to any of my friends looking for a home in London.

Terri, our Property Manager, was always very responsive and friendly.<br><br>We had a good experience with SA as a letting agent. They were especially helpful in supporting us - alongside our landlord - to deal with mould caused by issues in the broader building.

10th Jun 2026 (20 weeks ago)Our experience with HomeLink has been extremely negative.<br><br>We returned the keys on 14 May 2026 and recorded a video at the time of handover as evidence. Despite this, we were later told that the keys had only been returned on 2 June 2026. We have evidence showing otherwise.<br><br>When we rented the property, we were informed by Zach that there were no damp or mould issues. However, during our tenancy we experienced significant damp, mould and moisture problems throughout the property, particularly during the winter months. My wife and child developed asthma-related health problems, and we have supporting medical evidence.<br><br>We moved out on 30 April 2026 and were preparing to move into another property. During this process, HomeLink provided a negative reference, stating that rent payments had been late. We had already informed them in writing that my salary payment date had changed and requested that the payment date be adjusted accordingly. Despite this, the issue was not resolved.<br><br>HomeLink has withheld our £2,015 deposit and has attempted to charge rent for a period when we were no longer living in the property. We have written communications showing that we informed the agency in advance about leaving the property.<br><br>We feel that we were treated unfairly throughout this process. We have retained emails, messages, video recordings and other evidence and have started legal proceedings regarding these matters.<br><br>Potential tenants should carefully document all communications and thoroughly inspect any property for damp and mould issues before signing a tenancy agreement.

Although I didn’t end up securing a property through her, she was incredibly helpful, friendly and informative throughout the process. As a first-time renter, I really appreciated how clearly she explained the new rental laws and everything I needed to be aware of. She was always happy to answer my questions and made the process feel much less daunting. Thank you, Bhavika!
5th Sep 2023 (3 years ago)Amazingly bad service We rented a complete owned property for just over 2 years. In that time we had about 5 property managers. This should say all you need to know. Each one not knowing what had gone on before. Given the fact a week before we thought we were moving in we had to chase them to find out nothing had moved forward and they were waiting on us to send documentation (we were not told). Throughout the 2 years they were never really there to help you. After we have left they have tried to keep around 75% of our deposit which is absolutely insane. Missing furniture that never existed in the first place, the most expensive cleaning quote imaginable and £50 to remove a single chair. These are some of the excuses on the quote. Try and avoid complete properties when possible!!

As we moved from Germany to London for the first time, the process of searching for a home and completing all the necessary paperwork initially felt quite daunting. However, McMahon made the entire experience smooth and straightforward. Our agent, Serwan, conducted a detailed viewing via video call, shared all relevant information upfront, and guided us seamlessly through the contract process. We were particularly impressed with: 1) The thoroughness and professionalism of the paperwork and inventory check conducted by McMahon, which ensured fairness for both the landlord and the tenant. 2) The prompt resolution of minor issues in the property by Louise, the residential manager, who was highly responsive and efficient. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with both the property and the service provided by McMahon & Partners, and we would highly recommend them.

Pamela is our main contact, very professional, communicative, knowledgeable and on top of the whole process - would highly recommend her as an agent. She showed us the property and explained everything in depth and clearly. She’s also very responsive on WhatsApp to all of our questions, which has been very very helpful. Overall, would recommend Fraser & Co Shoreditch, and ask for Pamela if you can!

He has always been happy to help with any questions, offer advice and provide support whenever needed. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and his friendly, professional approach has made the whole experience so much easier. We couldn’t have asked for better service and would highly recommend Rob to anyone looking to sell their property.

I was genuinely interested in a property at Snow Hill Wharf and made it clear that I needed to make a decision quickly because I was viewing other apartments.<br>I was told that the agency was having difficulty arranging access for an in-person viewing and that I would be kept updated as developments occurred. I also specifically asked whether the landlord could be flexible on the move-in date because of the delay, and I was told they simply did not know.<br>I later discovered myself that the property had been marked as Let Agreed on Rightmove, without anyone from the agency bothering to update me.<br>Properties move quickly and I understand that another tenant may be chosen, but leaving an interested applicant waiting while progressing the property elsewhere, after promising to keep them informed, is poor communication and very unprofessional.<br>Based on my experience, I would not rely on this agency for clear or timely communication.<br><br>Part 2, my dear...<br>Your response is a remarkable example of how to turn a legitimate customer complaint into an exercise in avoiding accountability.<br>What you failed to mention publicly is that, on 5 October, Patrick Backos contacted me by email about this review. He acknowledged that communication from your side had been unsatisfactory, apologised, admitted your agency had fallen short, and asked me to consider removing my negative review because he felt it did not fairly reflect your service.<br>I declined, and stand by that decision. Your public response now disputes the very communication failure your representative had already acknowledged privately. Which version should prospective customers believe: the private apology or the public claim that my criticism is unfair?<br>Pierre explicitly told me twice in writing that he would keep me updated as developments occurred. I have the WhatsApp conversation to prove it. The property becoming Let Agreed was not a minor development; it was the most important update an interested applicant could receive. Yet nobody informed me. I discovered it myself on Rightmove.<br>Your explanation that you cannot individually contact every prospective tenant is irrelevant. I expected your agent to honour the commitment he personally made. The fact that the property was let through another agency, as Patrick explained, changes nothing. Your inability to secure access, arrange a viewing or communicate the outcome was not my responsibility.<br>Your agency had time to contact me to request removal of a negative review, but not to tell me that the property I was actively enquiring about was unavailable. That says more about your priorities than any one-star review.<br>A professional agency would acknowledge the criticism and improve. Instead, you have disputed an experience your own representative had apologised for. Customers are entitled to leave honest reviews, including negative ones, to inform future customers rather than protect a company’s preferred image.I have retained the relevant WhatsApp messages and email correspondence supporting everything stated here....My review will remain exactly where it is. Your response, together with your private admission of poor communication and request to remove my review, has only reinforced my original opinion.Perhaps next time a customer raises a legitimate concern, your priority should be improving the service rather than persuading them to remove evidence of their experience.<br>??????
