Buying a new property while selling your existing home can be a stressful and a challenging experience, but having the right team on your side makes all the difference. From the very beginning, Abi, Sally, and Barry were professional, proactive, and always available to provide updates, reassurance, and support. Unfortunately, our own selling estate agent in Ferring was not as effective when it came to communication and chasing matters when needed. In contrast, dealing with Miller Town & Country was a breath of fresh air. They always kept us informed, exceeded expectations, and made us feel supported and confident throughout the process. We cannot thank Abi, Sally, Barry & their team enough for their hard work, dedication, and outstanding customer service. We would highly recommend Miller Town & Country to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.

Elliot helped hugely by checking out a contract we had with another estate agent and showed us their faults & flaws, before we changed to BOP. Before we even had photographs of our property, Elliot had a viewer lined up, who put in an offer straight away. Excellent service. Elle has been great, being our liaison between the solicitors & chasing everything up, which meant it was less stressful to us. She even went out her way on her day off to check in with us on completion day. Very pleased with the outcome from Bond Oxborough and would recommend this Okehampton branch. Thank you all.
11th Jun 2026 (24 days ago)Wished to get some advice regarding land and principle property titles and was put in contact with Lucy Glanvill. Got generic advice and asked me to put it in writing, which I did. 1st email gets lost, follow up email I get the same generic response we discussed and my last email has gone unanswered. 3 months later I was none the wiser. I phoned Strutt & Parker's rural team and got a knowledgeable answer over the phone in 15mins. I've used Savills in Kent to sell a rural business and was impressed, but my first experience of the Exeter office is lacking and know where to go when the time comes!<br><br>Since posting this review I received a kind phone call apologising for this. I revised my rating from 2 to 4 stars as trying to put things right is rare these days than it used to be.

22nd May 2026 (6 weeks ago)Absolutely zero accessibility. Trying to move back to the area due to ill health and to be closer to my family again. We had 2 properties that we wanted to view and asked if these could kindly be virtual viewings, the middle aged woman on the phone was frankly snappy and rude and incredibly condescending when she said no, and how we would have to book a weekend away to view these, I explained this wasn't possible due to a multitude of reasons, she did not care. While house hunting now and in the past we have not had an issue with any other estate agents accommodating virtual viewings. It's 2026, do better.

From start to finish, the process felt personal and professional, and the team at Tiverton Stags were incredibly patient and kind. Lisa was especially excellent at managing the emotional side of the transaction and keeping everything balanced. I can’t recommend Stags highly enough. I was quite nervous at the outset about selling a small residential property, but I would strongly recommend the team for any property sale.

Throughout the whole process the Team at East of Exe, Jo, Tilly and Matt have supported us. Professional, knowledgeable,calm and efficient, we cannot recommend them highly enough.
13th May 2022 (4 years ago)I first met Brett a couple of years ago when looking into the student market. I didn't do anything at that time. It was a pleasure to meet Brett again in July 2021 when viewing another property, and subsequently other properties. Brett is generous with his time, doesn't rush you, and tells you the facts as he sees them. I feel he gives his views and advice in a very straightforward manner which is what you want as a buyer or a seller. I would have no hesitation in recommending Brett for his professionalism, friendliness and someone to go to for advice. I have now met the Lettings side of Star and found them extremely helpful as well.
22nd Mar 2023 (3 years ago)I had a very, very disappointing experience with Star Lettings back in the summer of 2021 – I'd been served with a section 21”no fault eviction” due to an issue with mold in the bathroom floor (which it transpired was caused by a “long term leak under the bath”) I still owe money to southwest water because of this. I'd reported the issue with the moldy bathroom floor to Star Lettings some two years previously. This notice to vacate was on hold throughout lock down due to Government legislation but didn't do much for my peace of mind. In my experience it seemed that the landlord always came first and I lost half my deposit even when I'd cleaned the house as requested though it was difficult given the underlying mold issue that should have been addressed when I raised two years previously. I was also told that the flat would be completely renovated as the landlord planned to turn the place into an AirB&B (which I believe has happened) so I left the place completely empty with a clean up as best as I could (thinking I wouldn't overly invest too much time in it, given the renovation would be going ahead anyway) After moving I contacted Star Lettings about my deposit but Star Lettings tried to withhold my entire deposit, in the end I managed to get back half of this, but not without a struggle.
