The sale got a bit tricky but we got there and I thank Tom and Caroline for this! I’m not sure why you’d use another agent in the Kingston Upon Thames area. Thanks team

They are honest and responsive which are the two most important requirements for me when moving house.<br>We have used both Walton and Weybridge offices and the service on both occasions has been exemplary. Thank you team MF and he will kill me if I don’t say a special thanks to Alastair who has almost kept me sane for this one!!!
14th Aug 2026 (9 days ago)I am writing this based on my experience dealing with an agent at Century 21 London Central regarding a serious water leak from a property they manage.<br>A leak from the flat above caused significant damage to my flat, including damage to the ceiling, walls and flooring, with further cracks appearing in several areas. The source of the leak was subsequently confirmed by a Westminster Housing technician.<br>I first informed Dusan about the matter on 21 June. Since then, I have had to repeatedly chase for progress:<br>9 July – followed up for an update<br>14 July – followed up again<br>20 July – followed up again<br>21 July – contractor visited the flat to inspect the damage<br>28 July – followed up again<br>3 August – followed up again<br>On 3 August, the contractor confirmed that he would prepare the quotation that evening and send it to the agent the following morning, with the intention of arranging the repair as soon as possible. I heard nothing further.<br>By 12 August, I had to chase again. The agent then emailed the contractor asking for the quotation. This was despite the agent having already asked the contractor for the quote on 9 July and again on 29 July.<br>As of 14 August, almost eight weeks after I first contacted the agent, I still have no quotation and no date for the repair.<br>What is particularly disappointing is that I have repeatedly had to chase both the agent and contractor, rather than seeing the matter actively managed through to resolution. From my perspective, it feels as though the responsibility is simply being passed back and forth, while the damage to my property remains unrepaired.<br>The situation has also developed further, with my tenant reporting electrical problems after the water spread through the flat, including repeated circuit/fuse tripping and lights no longer working. This makes the lack of urgency even more concerning.<br>I understand that the leak itself was not caused by the agent. My concern is entirely with how the resulting problem has been managed. I would expect a professional property management company to take ownership of a serious maintenance issue, communicate properly with all parties and ensure that necessary repairs are progressed within a reasonable timeframe.<br>I am also a landlord myself, and I take the condition of my property and the wellbeing of my tenant very seriously. I would never allow a repair issue like this to be left unresolved for this length of time. Based on how this matter has been handled, I would not use the agent and Century 21 London Central to manage my property, as this level of management could damage the landlord’s reputation and potentially expose the landlord to complaints, liability and legal action if the property is not properly managed.

He was super friendly and patient, answered any questions we gave him or gave an honest answer if he wasn't sure. We were able to make an offer on the property on the same day and got a call the next morning to say we had been accepted. Whenever I have called Gascoigne-Pees, they've picked up, Antonio was also accommodating with changing our viewing times at the last minute.<br><br>Really good service, I'm sure the next part of the process will be just as smooth and I feel like we're in good hands :)

They were professional and empathetic throughout, treating the sale not simply as a transaction, but with genuine care and understanding.<br><br>Lewis signed us up and gave us confidence from the outset. Katie was wonderful intuitive, professional and genuinely enthusiastic about our home. 26th Jul 2026 (28 days ago)?????<br>From the very first viewing through to the end of our search, Serena has been absolutely wonderful.<br>We were looking for a property for my 88-year-old mum, so this was a significant and emotional move for our family. Serena was incredibly kind, patient and thoughtful throughout the whole process, always taking the time to understand Mum's needs and never making us feel under any pressure. Her warmth, professionalism and genuine care made what could have been a very stressful experience so much easier.<br>I'd also like to thank Sandy and the rest of the team, who were all friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. Every member of staff we met was welcoming, professional and clearly cared about providing a first-class service.<br>Although we ultimately found a property elsewhere, that was simply down to finding a home that was the right fit for Mum. 1st Aug 2026 (22 days ago)Landlords Beware, I was charged for a second year commission for the same tenants, this had not been made clear in the let only Terms of business instead it was put on a separate invoice in small writing at the bottom that a 6% charge will apply if the tenants stayed on, this is in contrast to the initial email I received from the director advising Let only fee will be paid once upfront. I was expecting to pay only £250 for a contract renewal instead I was charged £1680 for the second year. They are not transparent with their fees. They referred to additional assistance that had been provided during the tenancy. However, I did not request or agree to purchase any services beyond the Let Only instruction, and I was never informed that any assistance offered would later be relied upon as justification for the second-year commission such as rent increase or reconciliation of rent, this was undertaken voluntarily by them. This experience has highlighted the importance of transparency when landlords are entering into contracts.

Communication was excellent throughout, and being able to chat via WhatsApp made everything so easy and meant I was always kept up to date. Nicole was brilliant from start to finish—patient, accommodating, calm and responsive and always happy to answer my questions, making what can be a stressful process feel much more manageable. I’ll strangely miss checking in with the team! I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone buying or selling a property.
