I have found Cubitt and West staff to be patient, informative and driven to provide great customer service.<br><br>I was previously advertising my flat with an alternative agency. Becky consistently checked in and gave guidance and support. From this, I ended up going with representation with C&W and my flat was let in record time!<br><br>Thank you Becky!

I was selling and buying at the same time and having 3 different mortgages one after another gave me many sleepless nights but Jordan was always there to support me and answer ALL my e-mails. Really grateful for all the advice and help. 100% recommend.

2nd Jul 2026 (3 days ago)I brought a house through a different estate agents over a year ago but I did have initial contact with Mann during my house search. At first it started off well the agent who I was dealing with was always very pleasant courteous and helpful guiding me through the home search as a first-time buyer.<br><br>The agent at Mann advised me to speak to their own internal broker at Mann as part of this process so as a gesture of appreciation I accepted.<br><br>After arriving to at the office for an appointment with the Mann broker I was at first greeted by the agent who I had been in contact with she welcomed me made a nice warm cup of tea before introducing me to the Mann broker. Here's where things got sour.<br><br>I explained to the broker that I was a first-time buyer and was looking for guidance on the mortgage lending process, best rates etc. As someone with zero home buying knowledge I was still familiarising myself with everything. I asked if it was possible to buy a house on residential, rent it out then live in that house later.<br><br>Obviously I didn't understand that you can't buy and then rent out a place on residential mortgage without good reason i.e. being a member of the armed forces, but instead of simply correcting me the broker talked down to me I believe he mentioned along the lines of "I might have to contact the FCA about this" which was really demeaning.<br><br>I then asked about the interest rates and loan amounts which Mann could broker for me and was planning to compare against deals provided by other brokers I had planned to speak to later on. Rather than giving me some pointers he said "show me the money first then we can talk" so rather than advising me and doing what he's paid to do he was rude, arrogant and condescending as if to mock me for being a newbie to the process.<br><br>I couldn't get out of his office fast enough and was certainly not interested in paying him a fee for brokering me a deal, which by the way I achieved for free, with no bullying elsewhere!
30th Jun 2026 (5 days ago)Just moved into a property at the arts centre managed by these guys. The place is so dirty, I’m hiring someone to come clean , bathroom door is broken, freezer doesn’t seal, downstairs shower doesn’t work but apparently we were made aware at the viewing that the place was old so these are acceptable. At the viewing they were still working on the place painting so you’d assume the work would be to bring the place to par and one would also assume it would be cleaned and brought to standard before tenant moving in but it’s a struggle having conversations with the agent (either over email or phone) he’s quite unlikeable and combative, he’s default mode seems to be deflection or obfuscation instead of just acknowledging or trying to listen. Every time I’ve spoken to him, he’s repartee has been you were told, I’ve barely interacted with him. Literally the first day I’m in the property and the relationship is already sour. Don’t use these guys if this is the standard. Honestly it’s amateur hour. I tell him I’m going to review the place against the inventory his response was you were told at the viewing the place was older, implying I should just accept the inventory as is and any broken stuff as normal (including ventilators in both bathroom not working, which is illegal) such insane and condescending responses from a “senior consultant” ??????.

18th Jun 2026 (17 days ago)My experience with Bernards Estate Agents in Waterlooville has been immensely positive.<br>Under the Leadership of Martin Merrett and his capable team, and in the most difficult buying and selling climate of the past few years, they have, in the most loyal and professional way looked after my late Mother's home.<br>Their communication skills have been fantastic, always keeping me advised of appointments, and where possible the feedback from prospective buyers.<br>Their work has not been made easy, not only in this economic climate, but in my case, selling a home that needed a bit of TLC.<br>I am immensely grateful to Bernards Estate Agents for allowing me to secure a buyer, and I am very happy to recommend Bernards Estate Agents to any, and all prospective clients.

Marc was polite and courteous throughout the whole process, as were his staff. Communication was excellent and it made what can be a stressful process, not a stressful process. Once the sale was complete Marc was there at my new address to hand me the keys.<br>Marc's years of experience in the industry shone through and I can't thank him and his team enough. I would highly recommend buying a property through Nesbitt and Sons.<br>Thankyou.<br>Mr Roberts.
