12th Mar 2026 (6 days ago)Savills were the letting agent for my property for about 6yrs after being bought by Area Estates. Savills do bare minimum with regards to repairs and maintenance. Camilla Kirby who recently left the company was lovely and made every effort to assist with the limited authority she had, sadly she was replaced by Rachel Bentley who is condescending, rude and quite frankly should not deal with the public in any capacity. Following a S21 notice due to selling before the new landlord rules come into affect in May, they attempted to charge £760 for removal of a fish tank from the loft of property despite it being in the property from the beginning of the tenancy and having no proof it wasn’t. She lied in a reference and stated that it couldn’t be changed as the director had approved it, and when I pressed her saying the reference was factually incorrect she stated “the DWP may be able to assist you with something in writing about your benefits”.

Only irritation is that this was a probate sale and my sisters were often not emailed information, despite multiple requests that we all be kept informed

27th Aug 2025 (6 mo. ago)I am not qualified to review Halls as an organisation, but I am eminently qualified to review the help given to me by the delightful member of staff who dealt with my consignment, which was directly connected with Stalag Luft III and the Great Escape. If other members of staff at Halls share even half the fine attributes of Caroline Dennard, then I suspect that the organisation itself deserves five stars too. At a very difficult time in my life, following the death of my wife, Caroline was unstinting in her labours, her empathy and her professionalism. She did more to honour the memory of the remarkable wartime RAF officer, whose memorabilia I was reluctantly having to sell, than I could ever have hoped for, even arranging for additional research by Doctor Steve Bond. Her hard work and kindness both yielded great dividends, for she not only helped soothe my suffering soul, but also bettered the auction's guide price. Most important, she put my beloved step-father's memory and medals into the hands of someone who would understand and value them.
3rd Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)I didn't find Cooper Green Pooks helpful at all. They overvalued the property, got us hardly any viewings and I had to chase for information. Even when I said I was leaving them they didn't even ask why? Overall not impressed.

27th Aug 2025 (6 mo. ago)No sale. Changed agent. Only two viewings. Contact only made by me. Disappointing but I understand market slow but contact and professional advice may have been beneficial.

24th Aug 2022 (3 years ago)Found them to be extremely arrogant, who complains about a purchasers solicitor being on holiday in the middle of the school holidays. Obviously never sold a property in the summer before. Then expects the purchaser to let the vendor to be able to enter the property after contracts and payment have been made. Typical expectation of estate agents, middle men who do nothing and treat purchasers like dirt. Can't wait for the housing market to stop and the boot is on the other foot, and estate agents have to earn a living.

From the first phone call Sam gently encouraged us to view the property as early as possible knowing that it would be quickly off the market without making us feel any pressure. Sam stayed on top of everything with us throughout the whole process, offering support, guidance and so much kindness on both a personal and professional front. He was happy to help with any and every problem we had offering us to pop in when we needed, even just for printing paperwork and kept us up to date with everything with phone calls so we felt in the loop even when we felt we were in over our heads as it was our first house buying experience. I can honestly say that I would use Your Move Estate Agents Oswestry again in the future if/when we decide to sell our home. Thank you Sam for everything, we wouldn't have got through it without you. You are excellent at your job and such a kind person.
