They made everything easy and the whole process was hassle free They rented my house out within 5 days and I have some excellent tenants !! I would highly recommend

2nd Mar 2026 (16 days ago)What can I say about Stacey,As soon as you walk into Clarke Munroe in billingham you are met with a warm smile.Stacey helped us out in our long and complicated move and made sure everything was perfect . Myself and my wife congrulate her in her professionalism and care .Never moving again but , anyone thinking about it , Clarke Munroe is the place to go .
25th Jul 2018 (7 years ago)Honestly, if I could lower the stars any further, I would. These guys are absolutely terrible. They threatened my tenants with harassment, told me the property wasn’t damaged when it was (they hadn’t been to see it). They then tried to rent it damaged (severely) for four months before they rented it. The new tenants then informed me durectly about the damage and I had to get it fixed. they then ripped me off upon exit of contract due to their breach Every tenant I had complained about their service and poor communication. It took a month to find out the tenants were having issues at some points. Do not go with these guys as you just get ripped off, lose rental return and end up managing it yourself regardless. I have since had to take them to court for the losses.

From the very first interaction, they demonstrated professionalism at its absolute best. As first-time buyers who were completely new to the mortgage process, we honestly didn’t know where to begin but the team made everything so easy and stress-free for us. Right from the property search, they took the time to truly understand what we were looking for and guided us every step of the way. They didn’t just show us homes; they went above and beyond by helping us connect with trusted solicitors and mortgage advisers, which made the entire journey feel seamless and well-supported. What really stood out was their communication. We were kept in the loop throughout the entire process with regular updates, which gave us great peace of mind. It’s not easy buying a home in a new country, but Rachel and Andrea made us feel completely at ease. They were incredibly patient, answering all our questions (and we had many!), and never once made us feel like a burden. We truly appreciated their support during the negotiation stage they helped us agree on a price that worked for us, and we couldn’t be happier with both the house and the lovely area we now call home. A huge thank you to Rachel and Andrea for your kindness, professionalism, and dedication. You turned what could have been an overwhelming process into a smooth and positive experience. 26th Oct 2024 (1 year ago)2 viewings one offer £40000 below asking price which was set by agent as realistic then they said it was probably too high. Also I take offence to their Facebook posts that state everything they touch turns to sold! When clearly it does not.
16th Feb 2026 (30 days ago)From the beginning, communication was poor. Calls and emails were ignored, updates were not provided unless I chased repeatedly, and I often felt completely in the dark about what was happening with my own property. Basic professionalism and proactive communication were simply not there. What is most frustrating is that a perfectly viable sale appears to have been sabotaged by a lack of competence and care. Key information was either delayed or poorly handled, follow-ups with the buyer were not managed properly, and issues that could have been resolved quickly were allowed to escalate unnecessarily. Instead of guiding the process smoothly, the agent created confusion and tension. There was no sense of urgency, no strategic negotiation, and no accountability when things started to fall apart. Rather than taking responsibility, I was met with excuses and deflection. Selling a property is stressful enough without having to micromanage the very person you are paying to represent your interests. I expected expertise, diligence, and professionalism. Unfortunately, I received the opposite. I would strongly advise others to think carefully before instructing this agency.

The house was clean, neighbourhood is calm annd peaceful. It was amazing dealing with acorn letting and sales and the landlord as well. Prompt response to issues mostly regarding repairs. Highly recommended

They were terrific in showing my late Brother’s house to potential buyers and always let me know about viewings, and answered any questions I had regarding the matter. I mostly dealt with Jayne Saddique MNAEA, the lovely Olivia Mahmood and excellent Debbie Wilson. Terrific job done by all staff. Grateful Thanks, Pat Gibson.

My experience with Northgate Estate Agents throughout the purchase of my first home has been nothing short of outstanding. From start to finish, the team were proactive, responsive, and genuinely invested in making the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. As a first-time buyer, I naturally had plenty of questions, but nothing was ever too much trouble. Communication was clear, timely, and reassuring at every stage. A special thank you to Katy, who was exceptional throughout. She went above and beyond to keep everything moving, provided regular updates without being chased, and was always approachable, professional, and incredibly helpful. Her and the rest of the team's support made what could have been an overwhelming experience feel manageable and positive. Northgate offers a level of service you would expect to pay a premium for — attentive, organised, and truly client-focused. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone buying or selling a property.
2nd Mar 2026 (16 days ago)Absolutely horrible estate agents, let their landlords run into disrepair and leave a kitchen with electrics under the sink exposed with water leaking for 6 months. Only when the council got involved they immediately sent an eviction notice under lie that he's selling because of may renters reform so he can't be challenged over the section 21. No problem. They then try to lie and say we refused entry or cancelled appointments and continued this for months as a way to make the tenant look difficult. The tenant that has lived here for 3 years 1 year in unsafe conditions until the council got involved because my children became unwell. So C.A (look on the website for full name) the compulsive liar, who likes to talk to tenants like trash accusing them of not paying rent and threatening them with landlords only to find the rent was paid a week early as usual and no apology offered until I argued over it. She is an absolute nasty piece of work and has some kind of power trip going on. Provoked and provoked until I did call her everything under the sun because I am paying to live in disrepair and them saying we are cancelling appointments which we have not done! Do check all date on photos and to me line!!! Look at my SAFE kitchen.

After five long years of struggling to sell my flat, I had almost given up hope. It was a very complicated sale with many challenges, yet Kyle stepped in and did what no one else could. Within just a couple of weeks of taking professional photos and launching the property, he secured a strong offer and moved the process forward with impressive efficiency. Kyle is outstanding at what he does — not only professional and highly skilled, but also genuine, reliable, and honest. His communication was exceptional from day one. He was always available, kept me fully informed, and handled every obstacle with calm confidence and expertise. Most importantly, I felt I could truly trust him throughout the entire journey — and that is rare to find in this industry. He didn’t just sell my flat — he went above and beyond to make it happen, and I will always be grateful.
