The whole process from start to finish was made clear and comfortable by Stacy , updates and keeping communication clear and simple . 25th Jul 2018 (7 years ago)Honestly, if I could lower the stars any further, I would. These guys are absolutely terrible. They threatened my tenants with harassment, told me the property wasn’t damaged when it was (they hadn’t been to see it). They then tried to rent it damaged (severely) for four months before they rented it. The new tenants then informed me durectly about the damage and I had to get it fixed. they then ripped me off upon exit of contract due to their breach Every tenant I had complained about their service and poor communication. It took a month to find out the tenants were having issues at some points. Do not go with these guys as you just get ripped off, lose rental return and end up managing it yourself regardless. I have since had to take them to court for the losses.

As first-time buyers who were completely new to the mortgage process, we honestly didn’t know where to begin but the team made everything so easy and stress-free for us. Right from the property search, they took the time to truly understand what we were looking for and guided us every step of the way. They didn’t just show us homes; they went above and beyond by helping us connect with trusted solicitors and mortgage advisers, which made the entire journey feel seamless and well-supported. What really stood out was their communication. We were kept in the loop throughout the entire process with regular updates, which gave us great peace of mind. It’s not easy buying a home in a new country, but Rachel and Andrea made us feel completely at ease. They were incredibly patient, answering all our questions (and we had many!), and never once made us feel like a burden. We truly appreciated their support during the negotiation stage they helped us agree on a price that worked for us, and we couldn’t be happier with both the house and the lovely area we now call home. A huge thank you to Rachel and Andrea for your kindness, professionalism, and dedication. You turned what could have been an overwhelming process into a smooth and positive experience. Excellent photos taken and my house sold in about 2 weeks.- 9th Apr 2026 (30 days ago)I was impressed with the initial meeting with Colleen who valued the property. She was knowledgeable,punctual ,a great communicator and efficient. I was extremely happy with Clare who throughout the process was always efficient ,friendly,supportive and conscientious .She replied to and resolved any queries promptly.The communication about viewings was very good and we were reminded about viewings the day before. I was very disappointed by the Sales Progressor who was difficult to speak to ,worked short hours and failed to contact us promptly causing difficulty and additional stress.
21st Apr 2026 (18 days ago)What can I say about Your move Darlington, from booking a viewing at a property 3 weeks ago, to making an offer, then having Hannah come and valuate and take my property to market and selling just 1 day after going live, to Sharon and Allyson who has helped every step of the way too, it is all with the solicitors to be finalised but i know if i need them they are only a call away.
26th Oct 2024 (1 year ago)2 viewings one offer £40000 below asking price which was set by agent as realistic then they said it was probably too high. Also I take offence to their Facebook posts that state everything they touch turns to sold! When clearly it does not.

One phone call to Northgate made us feel completely confident that we were in good hands, Jess was our 'on the ground' contact, Gary sorted the IT nuts and bolts and the whole thing has been painless and a delight. Our previous experiences had not been good so I couldn't be happier to have found Northgate and the Billingham team.
23rd Apr 2026 (16 days ago)Generally a good experience. Took us 11 months to sell but the market was very slow. Initial communication, house description and photos were good. They kept in touch regularly and suggested different approaches. Sales progression process didn’t seem to add a lot as it often just duplicated information from the solicitor.

After five long years of struggling to sell my flat, I had almost given up hope. It was a very complicated sale with many challenges, yet Kyle stepped in and did what no one else could. Within just a couple of weeks of taking professional photos and launching the property, he secured a strong offer and moved the process forward with impressive efficiency. Kyle is outstanding at what he does — not only professional and highly skilled, but also genuine, reliable, and honest. His communication was exceptional from day one. He was always available, kept me fully informed, and handled every obstacle with calm confidence and expertise. Most importantly, I felt I could truly trust him throughout the entire journey — and that is rare to find in this industry.
