23rd May 2024 (2 years ago)Bit strange, as my sister applied for a rental property and I was to be the guarantor they denied my application even though my payslips were valid? Stating I earn half the salary I put down? They advised me that home let denied my application but they were Lieing as home let has written it in email stating the above. MILLIE I think her name is the, she has been dealing with me on two occasions and for some reason both applications have been denied and then compulsively Lieing to me and my family. To be honest she’s bad reputation to the company. She doesn’t even know left from right let alone a guarantor. Would not recommend this company at all I don’t know if it’s racial profiling but to be honest it feels like that. Would advise people to stay away!

18th May 2026 (7 weeks ago)Would be a zero if possible , this has got to be the rudest man I’ve ever spoken to . Rang to enquire if a property that they were advertising for rent was still available and he was obnoxious and unhelpful from the start . Luckily found out at this early stage and now know not to go anywhere near them for any future business . I feel sorry for anyone who has signed them up to sell or lease their homes as they speak to potential tenants and buyers very badly . Their horrendous reviews speak volumes . Avoid at all costs

6th May 2026 (9 weeks ago)Currently in the process of buying a property and using Jordan for my mortgage who has been extremely helpful and knowledgeable also saved me money on my mortgage compared to what I was already offered elsewhere. I couldnt have asked for a better service!

The whole process from start to finish was made clear and comfortable by Stacy , updates and keeping communication clear and simple . 4th Jul 2026 (1 day ago)I can’t thank Debbie and the Billingham office enough for everything they did throughout my sale.<br><br>We encountered a major legal issue with a deed of variation, which took over 14 weeks to resolve and caused a great deal of stress and uncertainty. Throughout the entire process, Debbie was absolutely fantastic. She was incredibly supportive, always chasing solicitors and other parties for updates, keeping me informed every step of the way, and always available to talk whenever I needed reassurance.<br><br>Her professionalism, dedication, and genuine care made a difficult situation so much easier to deal with. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and I always felt supported from start to finish.<br><br>I couldn’t recommend Debbie and the Billingham office highly enough. Thank you for providing such outstanding service and going above and beyond.

I was extremely happy with Clare who throughout the process was always efficient ,friendly,supportive and conscientious .She replied to and resolved any queries promptly.The communication about viewings was very good and we were reminded about viewings the day before. I was very disappointed by the Sales Progressor who was difficult to speak to ,worked short hours and failed to contact us promptly causing difficulty and additional stress.

Jess went out of her way to keep dates on track and keep solicitors moving quickly. We even got a lovely gift hamper with a few essentials in it from Jess and the team.<br>I would definitely recommend Northgate in the future to anyone buying or selling.<br>Way to go team Northgate, you’re all amazing ??????

First, there is no way to actually speak to them on the phone — when I called, a voice message specifically stated that you cannot call them directly and I had to leave a message instead. For an estate agency, that is ridiculous.<br><br>I was visiting Ormskirk from another part of the UK and only in the area for a few hours. While driving in the area, I spotted a property I was interested in, so I made the effort to drive to their branch in person. I was met by a saleswoman from their team, who was cold and frankly snooty. Every question I asked was met with a long-winded "no" and zero useful information.<br><br>I am a seasoned property investor, part of the largest property network in the UK and Europe, and I regularly buy houses. Through their unhelpfulness and her dismissive attitude, they have lost not just my business but business from my wider network. I will not be using GR Estates again, and based on my experience I couldn't recommend them to anyone.

30th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)Property sold after 3 days of listing and completion took place around 1 month later. Can't complain - Divan & Jack were amazing and kept me reassured the whole time. I'll be bringing Let Property another one of my on the next tax year. Highly recomended.
