10th Jun 2026 (25 days ago)We have recently purchased a beautiful house through Carter and Jonas.<br>From the start of the process we have been fully informed and updated .<br>Extra viewings arranged and nothing we asked was too much trouble.<br>Catherine was extremely supportive and when sadly we had a bereavement in the family Catherine was both kind and professional and helped with making the purchase go as smoothly as possible under very difficult circumstances.<br>We can't thank Carter and Jonas and of course Catherine enough .<br>Now we start our new chapter in our stunning home ??????

Especially impressed by the quality of the viewings where are assigned viewing agent knew our property in and out, and was able to guage interest extremely effecitvely
28th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)Alex & Christine went above & beyond to help us with our house purchase & they weren’t even selling our house. We viewed the house twice before putting in an offer & when we eventually put the offer in. We brought our parents round & Alex was so patient didn’t rush us, just stood & waited. If we ever had questions they were always there. Really quick with responding to emails & keeping us up to date when they received updates. Even after we moved in I called with a question & Christine helped & wished us all the best in our new home. If we ever choose to move again we will 100% be choosing Selby branch to put us on the market! (Not for a very long time though hopefully).

3rd Jul 2026 (2 days ago)The agent took 6 months to sell one of the two properties I had. I spent a lot of my time chasing him up for information and feedback. He had failed to advise about writing into the sales schedule, no guarantees. This cost my £3000 payment to the buyer for a new boiler. He sold the property at home report value, which I'd agreed completely unaware of the additional costs I'd be paying. The second property did not sell. I discharged this estate agent and went with a different estate agency. Within two weeks of them marketing the property, three viewings resulted in two second viewings and an offer accepted. When I wrote a review, to prevent anyone else experiencing such unnecessary stress and negative financial impact, he responded with it was my fault for insisting on doing the viewings. Oddly enough, as my son is a vulnerable adult, I continued with the viewings after changing estate agents and behold the property sold!

We are very nervous first time landlords and Farrah has answered our questions throughout and been excellent at settling our nerves.<br>I would 100% recommend and I am so pleased I have them managing our property.
29th Apr 2026 (10 weeks ago)Whilst not the cheapest option in terms of fees, this was offset by the final offer made which was above the minimum asking price. The sales/admin team work well together meaning queries are efficiently directed to the appropriate personnel. Viewings were managed very effectively with phone calls backed up with confirmation emails. Feedback from viewings was rigorously sought and quickly relayed back to me. Overall I am very impressed with the quality of service given.

We sold our bungalow and the entire process from end to end was slick and efficient, from the original valuation carried out by Michael to the ongoing unapparelled support from Natalie who not only helped to actually sell our property but went on to provide continuous support and guidance throughout the entire process. It's a well know statistic that moving home is one of the most stressful things you can ever experience. However, we have to say that receiving the level of care and support we received from Natalie was not something we'd never experienced before and she enabled the move to be smooth and stress free. We have moved several times and we've never ever recieved such sublime service, care and support as we had with Redmove Estate Agents. If you're selling/buying a property and you want the very best then choose Redmove. High end fantastic service and value for money! Thank you so much to Michael, Natalie, & the Team for a job incredibly well done!!

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

5th Jun 2026 (30 days ago)Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We encountered repeated issues with attention to detail, including property photographs requiring multiple rounds of correction due to obvious editing errors and eventually having to re-photograph the property. On more than one occasion, viewings were not properly prepared, curtains were left closed in a bedroom and there was confusion over access despite key locations having been provided, . We were also made aware that a viewer was left waiting outside because the agent arrived late to the appointment. While the manager responded professionally and apologised when concerns were raised, the overall experience left us feeling that greater organisation, communication and attention to detail were needed.

31st May 2026 (5 weeks ago)I have to say I haven’t felt so comfortable buying a house knowing that we had someone like Ashleigh running the show. Everything was under control, from viewing our new property, then having the expert knowledge to know the target audience for our old house. Communication was 5 star, daily updates via the phone & WhatsApp groups. She had her foot on the pedal at all times when it came to dealing with solicitors, getting the house sale and purchase pushed through within 3 months. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone.
20th Feb 2026 (19 weeks ago)We’ve had an outstanding experience with Harvey at the York branch of Reeds Rains, and we truly couldn’t recommend him more highly. What really stood out to us is that Harvey is a man of his word. If he says he’ll call you back, he does at exactly the time he promises. That level of reliability is rare and incredibly appreciated. He consistently goes out of his way to support us in our search, always making us feel like a priority. We especially value his honesty. If he’s unsure about something, he’ll say so then take the time to find the correct information and come back to us. There’s no guesswork, no hard sales tactics, and absolutely no “flip flop” answers just straightforward, trustworthy advice. The York branch is very lucky to have him. Our only wish is that we could have Harvey as our agent across all Reeds Rains branches instead of having to change agents!
