We did end up achieving a higher sale price than he appraised our property for, but it was under offer in 5 days so we were very happy all around. Would recommend

I know sellers back out sometimes but they handled it awfully, we had to learn it from our onwards, they gave no, explanation or advice and showed zero sympathy. They left us off the market for months and we missed several equiries and lost our onwards due to their ineptitude. To make matters worse they were almost double the price of other agents.

I liked their system notifying me of the viewings so I was able to track what was happening. Good communications throughout. Referencing of tenants completed quickly. Hope that ongoing property management reflects this initial experience.

26th Apr 2026 (6 mo. ago)Dhruv Rupapara and Zac Summerhayes were the agents who worked on the sale. They were easy and pleasant to work with and had a good understanding of the market. They sold my flat faster than I expected, were transparent and informative all through the process, answering all my questions with patience and good humour. I would recommend Winkworth Islington and both the agents without hesitation.

16th Oct 2026 (11 days ago)Chestertons Islington is, without question, the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. The sheer incompetence, appalling communication and complete lack of accountability throughout our experience have been genuinely astonishing.<br><br>Our tenancy and moving-out process was an absolute nightmare. We incurred approximately £4,000 in additional costs, spent countless hours chasing emails and attempting to resolve issues, and were subsequently faced with further disputes over what we consider to be completely unreasonable deposit deductions.<br><br>What makes this experience particularly infuriating is the apparent unwillingness to acknowledge mistakes or take meaningful responsibility for resolving them. The amount of time, money and energy we have wasted dealing with Chestertons is frankly ridiculous. For a company that markets itself as a reputable, high-end estate agency, the standard of service we received was nothing short of disgraceful.<br><br>The only exception has been Alhad, who has been helpful throughout an otherwise horrendous experience.<br><br>I cannot stress enough how strongly I would advise anyone against using Chestertons Islington- AND CHESTERTONS AS A WHOLE. I have genuinely never encountered such consistently poor service from any company. An extraordinarily expensive, stressful and exhausting experience that I would not wish on anyone.<br><br>Avoid at all costs.

Although I didn’t end up securing a property through her, she was incredibly helpful, friendly and informative throughout the process. As a first-time renter, I really appreciated how clearly she explained the new rental laws and everything I needed to be aware of. She was always happy to answer my questions and made the process feel much less daunting. Thank you, Bhavika!

Their team have always been friendly and helpful whenever we've had queries with the flat, and always been on hand when repairs have been needed. Their communation is promt and clear, welcoming and approachable, and the two property managers we have been liaising with recognise us whenever we've needed to stop by for some admin or to drop papers off. A really personable service, and a lovely and refreshing change compared to previous agencies!

I would absolutely recommend working with Chloe if you are looking to work with an agent who will provide complete transparency into the letting process and reassurance that the flat will be looked after and well managed.
