Steve the director is a compulsive liar, he has 0 compassion unless it fills his pockets with money.<br>They are absolutely dodgy and I would strongly not recommend anybody go through this agency.<br>I have had years of being ignored from them regarding serious issues with the property I rent. When I do get a response from them it’s no accountability and gaslighting, given empty promises or better yet completely dismissed anything I have reported. His act is comical to say the least, he is the most unprofessional person, the “work” done tends to be botched jobs that fall below standards and tenants are just expected to put up and shut up all whilst still upping rent. But can’t give no answer on speaking with the landlords to rectify issues. When I reported an ongoing issue for over 3 years now he told me I was running the risk of the landlords selling up. Now he’s threatened me twice with that answer to the disrepair and the neglect. He’ll come out to the property and deny ever being there. Not to mention never ever any follows ups, the lack of compassion, professionalism is concerning. I’m still yet to have a response regarding my actual complaints. one thing I realised is Steve doesn’t like it when people try to hold him accountable. All he cares about is what fills his pocket. He almost forgets he has a duty of care considering he is the director to this joke of an establishment. But Steve’s speciality is silent treatment and dismissing tenants as if we are beneath him but if he does feel like doing something he’ll authorise botch jobs and masking over issues rather than fixing them. I have sat and read the reviews and Every single “negative” review is CORRECT and extremely accurate. Considering it’s his business you would think he would be a bit more careful on who he tries to fool and dismiss.

I have recommended Wentworth and Rose to many of my friends and family and would not go to anyone else to sell a property. We really felt we were in good competent hands and got everything we asked for and more.

13th May 2026 (8 weeks ago)Extremely poor service from Jacob. Decided upon himself to alter the asking price without our consent. No apology when questioned. Very defensive attitude. Such a shame as the owner was very apologetic on his behalf and showed way more professionalism. Please learn to own your mistakes. Breach of contract so when we asked for an email to be sent to us removing our house sale and any liability when moving on to another agent he made excuses as being to busy to send a simple email. Really disappointing service and more concerning his attitude. Two days on and we are still waiting on the email!

13th Oct 2025 (8 mo. ago)I’ve used Redbrick as a letting agent for the past 4-5 years and they are far superior to any other agent I’ve used previously. Compliance is spot on, deposits are secured on time and documentation issued. Patrick will also offer a one to one with landlords and assess current problems with tenants / letting agents and look at the best possible solution.

3rd Jul 2026 (3 days ago)Englands Estate Agents are a local independent Estate Agency, based in Harborne, Birmingham. They were really helpful when I purchased the flat back in 2018. I had no hesitation in going back to them and instructing them with the sale some years later. Excellent service, professional advice and as a local independent agent they were able to manage the sale effectively and efficiently. Highly recommended if you are looking to buy or sell in Harborne/Edgbaston.

Its been three weeks and I havent been able to duplicate my loss key to my house! Why do you guys even have him?? If you guys are never open, dont display opening hours on Google

Michelle, Lisa and Helen were fantastic throughout the entire process. Professional, knowledgeable and always on the ball, they helped take away so much of the stress that comes with moving house. Communication was excellent, and they were always available to answer questions, provide updates and keep everything progressing smoothly. What really stood out was their dedication and willingness to go the extra mile. We always felt supported and confident that they were doing everything they could to achieve the best outcome for us. A huge thank you to Michelle, Lisa and Helen for all their hard work. If you're looking to buy or sell a property, Ruxtons are an excellent choice.
