They made the whole process from beginning to the end as easy as possible for me. They were all extremely sensitive to my situation and made me take my time with each process. I can't thank them enough.

When I was setting up my small home baking business, they were supportive and made the process straightforward, which I really appreciated. 18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

3rd Mar 2026 (15 days ago)I recently began a tenancy for a flat in Gerrards Cross through Gibbs Gillespie, and they were fantastic to work with. Jekaterina especially was incredibly on-the-ball and always quick to get back to me on all of my many queries as a first time renter. Jekaterina also helped me to negotiate with the landlord for a fixture to be added to the flat before my move-in date. It was very nice to have a team of qualified letting agents in your corner during the whole process.

Henne in particular deserves a mention - she really helped when our chain was dragging by communicating up and down the line and keeping us informed every step. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

I have been kept up to date throughout the process and feel confident that they are supporting me as a seller. I was a little concerned at first that their valuation was £25,000 above what another agent had provided, but I needn't have been as they secured an asking price offer a week after it went onto the market!

3rd Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)They say bad news travels fast but I believe good news should travel even faster, whilst my buying journey is just in its early stages, the experience I have had to date has been extrenely genuinely . My initial phone call was answered by Jack, and having coming from a sales background I find myself spotting a 'sales process' a mile off, which usually shows itself in the form of an over bearing and quite frankly off putting interaction that a lot of companies operate with. This is not the case for this company. Being able to actually have a genuine conversation with a considered person who's main concern was to find out more information so he could simply help me better. Sincere and refreshing. Whilst we havent found 'the one' yet. I have no doubt in the future we certainly will. Thank you Jack and Akeman
14th Mar 2026 (4 days ago)Really disappointing experience. My partner rented a property that was heavily affected by ongoing anti-social behaviour, which made living there very uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the property manager, Bradley Lusted, was often unavailable and extremely difficult to reach when issues needed to be addressed. On top of that, once the tenancy ended there was a significant lack of transparency and communication regarding the deposit. It was unclear what was happening and responses were slow or nonexistent. Overall, the lack of support, communication, and accountability made the whole experience frustrating and stressful.
