They moved quickly to get the photos live which helped generate viewings, and they kept me in the loop consistently with updates on feedback, interest levels, and next steps. What stood out most was how proactive they were — they didn’t just “list it and hope,” they actually drove things forward. I’d happily recommend them.
8th Feb 2026 (5 weeks ago)I felt the agent had a lack of knowledge and understanding of our local area, and was too focused on metrics rather than seeing the advantages of our particular property over some of the other properties around us. I felt there was too much pressure being put on us to drop our asking price after only a few weeks in.
16th Jan 2026 (9 weeks ago)We were so impressed by the professionalism, competency and emotional intelligence demonstrated by Blake when viewing properties with JamesDean, that we switched estate agents to JD for the sale of our property. This turned out to be an epic decision because Blake sold our house on the first weekend (previously on with two EAs for a few months). Agreeing the simultaneous sale and purchase is just the start of the race however. I must give a huge shout out to Sam, who was instrumental in progressing our sale through a chain with an incredibly difficult bottom link. Rob runs a great shop at JD and when things got super stressful, was always there to talk and bring calmness. I would (and have already) recommend JD.

From the very first conversation, everything was handled with professionalism, clarity, and genuine care. David and Kane both took the time to fully understand our situation and explained all available options in straightforward terms, making what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and manageable. Communication was excellent throughout — I was kept informed at every stage, and any questions I had were answered promptly and thoroughly. Nothing was too much trouble. Most importantly, David secured a competitive deal that suited our needs perfectly as first time buyers and the entire process was completed efficiently. 18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
