13th Jun 2026 (22 days ago)Terrible agent, shown up for how poor they were by the quality of every other agent in our purchase chain. Our vendor, who was using their services, views them as dreadful, our own agent who had to deal with them complained of exactly the same slow and unhelpful service that we had. On completion, initially didn't even know it had happened, completely hopeless, miserable experience and didnt even have keys to hand over, with no attempt to resolve matters. The vendor was an elderly client and got entirely insufficient support from them. If it were not for our proactive solicitors arranging for keys direct from the vendor, no doubt we would still be waiting to move in. 0 Stars isn't an option, so 1 star it is.

Roger and Chantelle were our main points of contact and both were excellent throughout the process. The negotiations were handled professionally and fairly, and we always felt that both sides were being treated with respect. Roger in particular struck the perfect balance between being approachable and highly professional, which made a real difference when it came to securing the deal. A special thank you has to go to Chantelle, who was outstanding in keeping everything moving. She kept us fully updated at every stage, maintained clear communication between all parties, and worked hard behind the scenes to ensure the process stayed on track. Her proactive approach helped make what can often be a stressful experience feel smooth and well managed, and the speed at which everything came together was a real credit to her efforts. Overall, the whole team at David Hill were a pleasure to deal with. They were responsive, organised, and clearly committed to getting the best outcome for everyone involved. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell, and we are very grateful for the part they played in helping us secure our new home.

However, if you have an understanding and diligent agent you will find the stress of selling will ease a considerable amount. I am grateful to GetAgent for putting me in touch with Yourmove in Keighley. Yourmove provided an exceptional service, I was kept informed of updates and a buyer was secured in good time. I have also been informed they have difficulty retaining staff!!!!! Previously had first class service.
