Recently moved out and have had nothing but problems with receiving my deposit back although I’ve been living in damp and mould for years. They only decided to do something about it around my due date because my family were furious I was about to bring a newborn into a black mould infested flat, My unborn baby’s furniture at the time had black mould all over and had to be thrown away which were also gifts from family. Glad to be in a much nicer property with people who really care.
25th Jul 2026 (30 days ago)When I wanted to sell my flat in Seaton I had this feeling that John Wood was ‘the’ estate agents to use - I was right!! I had the very best service from some lovely people who were helpful, friendly and totally efficient. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

From our initial meeting, Charlie and Chloe were professional, friendly, proactive and incredibly understanding. Their expertise and personal approach gave us great confidence and made what could have been a stressful process so much easier. A professional and good looking set of photos and video online, a friendly and helpful team and good communications were all hallmarks. The property sold within a week - so they definitely did something right!
