They helped us move into our house extremely quickly, with all paperwork and signings handled efficiently and without any unnecessary delays.<br><br>Throughout our year-long tenancy, they were always quick to respond to any issues we had (although these were thankfully rare) and ensured that anything raised was dealt with as quickly as possible.<br><br>They were also extremely fair when it came to the return of our deposit, and we really appreciated the fact that there were no unnecessary or unreasonable deductions, which can unfortunately be common with landlords.<br><br>Overall, we were very happy with the service we received and would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable and professional letting agent.
14th Jan 2021 (5 years ago)Found that viewing were being booked but some never showed, offers were being made but always mysteriously disappear or are not chased back. Just lost confidence completely. The feedback was vague also.
22nd Jun 2026 (9 weeks ago)We were asked to be a guarantor on the basis that our relative (prospective tenant) had recently changed job. After providing all the requested info, including bank statements showing 3 months income over 100k and mortgage statements etc etc only to be told that the landlord had chosen someone else. Shocking process causing untold stress ……. avoid avoid avoid

From the outset, the team were knowledgeable, communicative, and realistic in their guidance.<br><br>A particular mention must go to Andrew Cuckill, who was genuinely outstanding throughout. Andrew handled every stage with complete professionalism keeping me informed, managing expectations, and ensuring I felt confident at every step of what can be a daunting process. His expertise in the auction process was evident and his personal approach made a real difference.<br><br>I would not hesitate to recommend Aubrey Lee to anyone considering selling at auction. First-class service from start to finish.

I was kept fully informed but didn’t need to get involved in the viewings. I received a useful summary of the various interested parties, and professional advice from which I made an informed decision.

As a remote landlord they were fantastic and it was also reassuring to hear the positive experience from my outgoing tenant. Big thank you!

6th May 2026 (16 weeks ago)Following the successful completion of a particularly difficult sale of an industrial unit we would like to say WT Gunson provided an excellent service, their agent, Josh kept all parties informed and was tenacious when things began to derail. He managed to keep in touch with the buyer and ourselves to bring things to a successful conclusion. Thanks very much to Josh and the team. His recommendation of a solicitor was also appreciated.
26th Aug 2021 (4 years ago)As a landlord I would say you should avoid dealing with Taylor Jackson. They were dire at best. Totally incompetent as letting agents. Problems we had: The tenants rent was agreed but he never paid the full amount. They falsified a Tenancy agreement, we only found this out when we sold the property. They did not inspect the property. They held onto money the tenant did pay, we only found out by accident that the Tenant had paid, I am fairly sure had we not found out they would never have paid and their accounting system is dreadful. They had work carried out for us and we did not get any invoices just a charge. The tenant owed 18 months rent in the end so we sold the property. Good riddance Taylor Jackson!

14th Aug 2025 (1 year ago)The whole process with NPP has been very stressful. At the beginning all accommodations were met & so welcoming to the property. I was in a property with faults and promised so much to get this fix however nothing until I left and they sent someone. I have also been rudely spoke to throughout the whole process and chased for payments with no given help or support. Overall I am not one to complain however this has been a horrible experience

11th Jan 2026 (7 mo. ago)We are about to complete the purchase of a property through Thornley Groves estate agents in Hale. Buying or selling a house can be a stressful process, but the team at Thornley Groves were consistently professional, supportive, and impressive throughout. Chris, the branch manager, initially helped us with putting in our offer and was fair, transparent, and professional from the outset, which immediately gave us confidence in the process. Claire regularly checked in with both us and the vendor to ensure everyone was aligned and that all paperwork was progressing promptly. This made us feel well supported and helped keep things moving quickly without unnecessary delays. As we were part of a chain, there were some challenges in getting the top and bottom of the chain to agree on a completion date. Jamie, who originally showed us the property, was exceptional in handling this. She took the initiative to draft a detailed email, bringing all parties together, and used her professionalism and experience to resolve the situation and secure an agreed completion date. Her efforts were instrumental in ensuring a smooth conclusion to the transaction. Overall, I cannot recommend the team at Thornley Groves highly enough.

We were given lots of advice and support when we were ready to advertise our property and the photos gave the best representation of our home. We went live on boxing day and after one day of viewing we had an over the asking price offer. Everything has run seamlessly and without issue. Tom was available to speak to whenever we needed clarification or advice.
