6th Jun 2026 (20 weeks ago)I would rate 2Roost Estate Agents as average overall — you get what you pay for. They initially valued my property around £25,000 higher than what it eventually sold for, which I found disappointing and unrealistic. The staff were friendly throughout the process and the photographs they took of the property were very good. However, I felt the overall service lacked experience and professionalism at times. On one occasion, my front door was left open overnight due to carelessness, which was completely unacceptable. I also felt there was little flexibility with viewings outside of standard hours, as evening appointments after 5pm were not really accommodated or proactively discussed with me. In addition, some of the offers put forward to me felt unrealistic and far below expectations. While the service was not terrible, it was fairly mediocre overall. Looking back, I probably would have chosen a more established estate agent, even if it meant paying slightly higher fees. Ultimately, you pay peanuts, you get monkeys — lesson learned on my part.

21st Feb 2026 (8 mo. ago)Having approached 3 estate agents to value the property I was most impressed by the work undertaken from the outset by Steven Goff. Although not the cheapest in terms of commission they seemed more professional than the competition. Since placing the business in their hands I have been extremely impressed by their work in relation to organising everything such as viewings and marketing and updating me at every stage. I have been most appreciative of the work undertaken by the whole team and in particular Lauren.
22nd Oct 2026 (5 days ago)My initial experience with WHB was not great. My name was used incorrectly on an email and document. I also had a viewing, but no one turned up. I contacted WHB and was told that they did know that the viewing was cancelled, but forget to communicate this to me. My overall experience was ok.

We have just moved home & Rob, Alicia, Emily & the team were great throughout the entire process.<br><br>At the start when our previous house went on the market the team made sure it was on for the right price which helped our house sell in under a week. They don’t tell you what you want to hear, they are honest in their valuation & tell you the price which the house will sell at.<br><br>Unfortunately the first sale fell through initially (not of their doing). They were brilliant, they liaised with the estate agent of the house we were buying to inform them of the situation & the plan of how they would get the house back on the market. It was back on the market the following day & sold again in under a week.<br><br>Once the process of moving was underway Alicia - who was dealing with our sale, was always available for a phone call to answer any queries & always answered emails the same day. But when Alicia wasn’t available members of the team would always be willing to take messages & chase up so we didn’t lose any time.<br><br>They also chased all parties involved to ensure the process was completed as soon as possible, it made the entire process a lot less stressful & allowed us to focus on sorting out our property prior to moving as we knew they were doing everything in their power to get the sale completed quickly.<br><br>I could not recommend Anderson’s enough & I will be directing friends & family who are moving, to them to sell their house. We cannot thank them enough!<br><br>Thanks Rob & the team!

Their attitude with their clients is extremely commendable. I was initially a little hesitant after hearing from a neighbour that I might hardly hear from Rod, but I’m very happy to say I had absolutely nothing to worry about!<br><br>Aaron and Emily were fantastic — always quick to respond, keeping me regularly updated and incredibly helpful despite the time difference. I especially appreciated that they checked on the property regularly, which gave me great peace of mind while I was working within a budget. I understand there is normally a charge for this, as there was with most of the other agents I spoke to, so I really appreciated their courtesy in making the process as stress-free as possible for me while I was abroad.<br><br>They genuinely made what was a daunting process feel somewhat easier. I always felt comfortable reaching out whenever I was anxious or had a question, and there were many! I’m grateful for their support and would happily recommend the team at Alexander Jacob.

Her willingness to go the extra mile made a real difference and helped make what could have been a very stressful experience much more manageable.<br><br>Overall, the service I received from Staves was excellent. He went above and beyond throughout the whole process. He was incredibly contactable and responded extremely quickly. No question or query was too much for him and he made the whole process as smooth as possible due to his communication. He gave us excellent advice when it came to offer price and also sale price and he helped us negotiate on price when the survey flagged some issues requiring repair. Shaz genuinely cares about both the buyer and vendor in this process, which makes a huge difference compared to other estate agents we have interacted with over the years. If we ever move house again in the future we will be using EweMove again and I will be recommending them and Shaz to anyone else I know planning a move!
