12th May 2026 (8 weeks ago)Initially found the team to be professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful prior to signing the contract. However, the experience deteriorated quickly afterward. Communication has been extremely poor and often unresponsive, with commitments made that were not followed through. Overall, the service has felt disorganized and significantly below expectations for a letting management agent. The property continues to be shown in its current condition, which raises questions about their standards and oversight. Additionally, their knowledge of the local area appeared limited, which further reduced confidence in their ability to manage effectively. Based on my experience, I would not recommend using them for lettings.
6th Jun 2026 (29 days ago)I would rate 2Roost Estate Agents as average overall — you get what you pay for. They initially valued my property around £25,000 higher than what it eventually sold for, which I found disappointing and unrealistic. The staff were friendly throughout the process and the photographs they took of the property were very good. However, I felt the overall service lacked experience and professionalism at times. On one occasion, my front door was left open overnight due to carelessness, which was completely unacceptable. I also felt there was little flexibility with viewings outside of standard hours, as evening appointments after 5pm were not really accommodated or proactively discussed with me. In addition, some of the offers put forward to me felt unrealistic and far below expectations. While the service was not terrible, it was fairly mediocre overall. Looking back, I probably would have chosen a more established estate agent, even if it meant paying slightly higher fees. Ultimately, you pay peanuts, you get monkeys — lesson learned on my part.

Although not the cheapest in terms of commission they seemed more professional than the competition. Since placing the business in their hands I have been extremely impressed by their work in relation to organising everything such as viewings and marketing and updating me at every stage. I have been most appreciative of the work undertaken by the whole team and in particular Lauren.

The service provided was amazing and the added package of solicitors included really worked well for us. The photographer who came did a great job with the photos! Would 100% recommend the team at crystal peaks.

I made an online enquiry on Monday, received a call back on Tuesday, arranged a viewing for Thursday, and by Friday we had paid the holding deposit. The whole process was smooth, efficient, and well organised. We loved the property and were very impressed with how the viewing was conducted. Daniel, who assisted us throughout, did an excellent job. He was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, providing all the information we needed about the property and clearly explaining the next steps. His communication was prompt and reassuring throughout the process. Based on our experience, I would highly recommend Martin & Co Sheffield to anyone looking for their next home. Thank you to Daniel and the team for making the process so straightforward.
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
7th May 2024 (2 years ago)I had a pleasant stay throughout the year and 6 months plus,from the moment I stepped in their offices I met one agent namely muktah,he was very helpful,a very kind man who knows how to communicate with people,if u have issues he will always be there to help,in life u can never predict ur future,sometimes u hit rock bottom and if u don't have an agent who undestands your struggles you'll definitely have a rough time in the property,i recommend Hallam Hills to a friend whose looking for a place to stay,ask for muktah when u step in their offices you'll never regret it,he's the best of the best ????.
15th May 2026 (7 weeks ago)We had 4 agents to evaluate our house and although they were all efficient there was one that stood out from the crowd. Melissa from Morfitt Smith was extremely knowledgeable about the area, the type of potential buyers, realistic about the asking price, and we felt that the service from a local agent would be more suitable for us. Once we made the decision to use Morfitt Smith, they were very quick to arrange the photographs, which were amazing, and to list the property. We immediately had a lot of viewings arranged and received several offers straight away one of which we accepted with their help and guidance. The communication was fantastic, by text and email, we were kept informed of everything by Lauren, our dedicated contact in the office. We're now looking forward to a smooth process through to the exchange of contracts. We are very happy we made the decision to go with Morfitt Smith, they have been so friendly, professional and efficient in what is potentially a stressful time, and would highly recommend them to anyone.

6th May 2026 (9 weeks ago)Our purchase was a bit of a nightmare all things considered with lots of hiccups at each stage and very slow (nothing to do with Blundells) but Katy was great, she was friendly, helpful, quick to respond to any enquiries and gave me lots of practical assistance moving things along as well as just general advice which as a first time buyer was invaluable. She is an absolute star ??????. Very happy with the service I received
