15th Jan 2026 (9 weeks ago)This agency was negligent in handling the sale of our property. I’m following up a formal complaint against them. They mis-handled 3 offers for our property. We finally accepted an offer through them, which turned out to be null and void as they hadn’t carried out basic checks on the buyer, by which time we’d lost our other buyer. We eventually went to Chestertons, got another £80,000 and were handled professionally

18th Feb 2026 (29 days ago)Untrustworthy agency. All tenants were unexpectedly served via email a 3-week illegal eviction notice. We were informed that the house had been sold and the new owner would be moving in with his family. However, turns out that the house was being advertised on booking.com as a guest house.<br><br>Not only they were completely dishonest with all tenants but we still had to endure having complete strangers in the house, on a daily basis. It was a seven-bedroom house and at that time, there were two vacant rooms. I had people knocking at my door late in the evening, strangers entering in my bedroom without even knocking, as well as guests helping themselves of my food and crockery from my cupboard. People, mostly tourists were also shocked to find out that what was supposed to be a guest house, was in reality a houseshare, where the respective tenants were being illegally forced out of the house.<br><br>Whilist I witnessed the dispair of my housemates in trying to find a new place to live, I refused to move out within the time frame that I had been given. I stayed for a month, leaving in the house my own brand new bed and matress for the guests to make use of and enjoy, while I had no choice but to move out of the property.<br><br>Despite such stressful situation, I was still humble enough to ask them multiple times if they had other properties available in the same area, to which the answer has always been no. Greediness has prevailed from their side, despite having been their tenant for several years. Therefore, I am leaving this review as a way of warning people about this dishonest and unconsiderate agency, who will not hesiate to go out of their way where money is concerned. Without taking into consideration how their actions will impact the lives of the people involved.<br><br>Please, also be aware that all 5-star reviews on here are from their agency members of staff, friends and family.

Jack and the team are just such a nice bunch and patiently worked with us for much of 2025 guiding us through the process of becoming first time landlords. We felt finding the right tenants meant first finding the right estate agents to work with and with Findlay feel our flat is in very safe hands. Thank you Findlay!

The process was smooth, efficient, and handled with professionalism from start to finish. All steps—from the initial inquiry to the final paperwork—were managed promptly and with clear communication throughout. Kamran and Mary I worked with was not only professional but also approachable and attentive. They were receptive to my questions, responded in a timely manner, and ensured I had all the necessary information at each stage of the process. I felt supported and well-informed the entire time. What I appreciated most was the balance between efficiency and personalized service. Everything was done quickly, but without ever feeling rushed. It was clear that the team values both their clients’ time and their comfort. I would confidently recommend Cameron Agency to anyone looking to rent in the area and would be happy to work with them again in the future.

I’m really grateful for how smoothly everything was handled — I moved in today and couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend! ????
17th Jul 2025 (8 mo. ago)Horrible experience dealing with this estate agent. Dishonest advertising of what was supposed to be a 2 bedroom open plan flat to rent in civic square RM18 Tilbury led my wife and I to believe we had potentially found our perfect home. Just to be sure, my wife even called the agency to make sure it was definitely a 2 bedroom flat. Despite being booked in initially at 16:30 for a viewing, due to the constant stuttering and lack of confidence in what we were being told over the phone, my wife decided to call again an hour before the viewing to make sure we were definitely booked in. We weren’t, so we would have turned up for nothing :) Anyway, we booked ourselves another viewing for 16:45. Surprise surprise, the agent turned up late. Did we get a call to say he was running late? No. We called him and he told us he would be 10 minutes. Surprise surprise, this turned into 25 minutes stood outside the flat baking in the sun. Cherry on top? It was a 1 single bedroom flat with a separate living room and small kitchen. It gets worse. When I confronted the agent about the false advertising, he was incredibly rude and told me “yeah but it can be used as a 2 bed if you use the living room area as a bedroom.” Dishonest agency, unorganised and pathetic to be honest, stay away from this agency!

25th Feb 2026 (22 days ago)Unfortunately had to edit this down from a 5*. Incredible unresponsive to email. Trying to get a council tax discrepancy sorted in the initial tenancy agreement due to an error in drafting- absolutely zero response. I have chased 3 times for some feedback for the re-lease, completely ignored. One viewing in four weeks- suggests a lack of effort. It’s unfortunate.

23rd Feb 2026 (24 days ago)Do not deserve even 1 star. The advertisement was completely misleading. The photos showed a flat in perfect condition, but when I arrived, workers were inside and the entire flat was in a broken, unfinished state. Wasted my 2 hours.<br>The owner, Anthony, was extremely unprofessional and did not bother to answer basic questions. His attitude was disrespectful and showed no concern for potential tenants.<br>Avoid at all costs.

As a first time buyer I found the process pretty daunting, but the team were always easy to contact, supportive and professional. It was a pleasure interacting with Aimee, Victoria, Marty and Sophie and I could not recommend them highly enough. My experience was greatly improved by working with a team who were switched on and capable, but also kind and friendly. Definitely a much better experience than I have had with other estate agents! Thank you for all of your help

3rd Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)Very unprofessional after you give them business. They managed our property in Northampton for 4 years. No inspection reports ever provided. Told us the tenant has left and there was no rent for us. Seem like they do not know the legal implications of such action. The personnel who managed our property was very arrogant and has no idea of customer service. Had to prompt them for rent to be disbursed on most of the times.

They look after the management of our estate and have made many improvements, all of which have had a really positive impact. Joanna and her team are professional, approachable, and easy to communicate with, always keeping us informed and addressing any issues promptly. It’s reassuring to know our estate is being managed so well, and I would highly recommend Joanna and the team at Novus Residential.
