21st Feb 2026 (25 days ago)Oliver Jacques did a fantastic service selling my flat in Bow Quarter. For work I was based far from London and they went above and beyond to enable me to sell the flat - sorting out various issues that came up without me having to travel back. I started with another agent who was not able to get nearly as many viewings, so I switched to Oliver Jacques. They were on the ball and James was arranging viewings and always willing to help. When there was a delay related to the Lease, Rosalie problem solved and pushed things forward, finding solutions and working with us to get the sale over the line. Thanks to all at OJ.
28th Feb 2026 (18 days ago)Extremely unprofessional and a complete waste of time. I booked a viewing on 24 February 2026 for an appointment confirmed on 28 February at 12:00 pm. I travelled nearly two hours to attend, arrived on time, and when I called the agent to check their arrival, I was casually told the appointment had been cancelled. No one informed me beforehand. No call. No email. Nothing. This shows a total lack of basic organisation and zero respect for clients’ time. Cancelling appointments without notifying people is unacceptable, especially when customers are travelling significant distances. If this is how they treat potential buyers, I would strongly question how they handle actual clients. Very disappointing experience.

27th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Great experience renting through Regent. Any faults with the property are quickly remediated, and the agency is very responsive to queries in general. Renewal of my tenancy was handled quickly and professionally by my agent James. Looking forward to a continued tenancy!
17th Jul 2025 (8 mo. ago)Horrible experience dealing with this estate agent. Dishonest advertising of what was supposed to be a 2 bedroom open plan flat to rent in civic square RM18 Tilbury led my wife and I to believe we had potentially found our perfect home. Just to be sure, my wife even called the agency to make sure it was definitely a 2 bedroom flat. Despite being booked in initially at 16:30 for a viewing, due to the constant stuttering and lack of confidence in what we were being told over the phone, my wife decided to call again an hour before the viewing to make sure we were definitely booked in. We weren’t, so we would have turned up for nothing :) Anyway, we booked ourselves another viewing for 16:45. Surprise surprise, the agent turned up late. Did we get a call to say he was running late? No. We called him and he told us he would be 10 minutes. Surprise surprise, this turned into 25 minutes stood outside the flat baking in the sun. Cherry on top? It was a 1 single bedroom flat with a separate living room and small kitchen. It gets worse. When I confronted the agent about the false advertising, he was incredibly rude and told me “yeah but it can be used as a 2 bed if you use the living room area as a bedroom.” Dishonest agency, unorganised and pathetic to be honest, stay away from this agency!- 8th Feb 2022 (4 years ago)Amazing agency, in particular Mr. Giancarlo. 18th Feb 2026 (28 days ago)Eight and a half years ago I turned to Mcdowalls to rent a house, after so many years I received notice that the landlord wants to sell the house. All this time they have been very efficient regarding the defects, supportive and understanding. Now we are signing for the second one to move into another house with them. And when I say,,ALL WITH" I mean: Lisa Brown the same person eight and a half years ago, the same person now with whom I am signing Her colleagues who make an extraordinary team, and of course I would like to thank the landlord too.

21st May 2025 (9 mo. ago)Rented from these folks for about 9 1/2 years. Loved the property managers, never had any problems until landlords hiked the rent in 2023 and wouldn’t negotiate. Length of communication silence meant the agency left me with about two weeks to move out and sent several insistent emails saying I had to vacate the premises in that period, which was rough after such a long tenancy and isn’t in keeping with what tenants are actually legally able to do. I was eventually able to get a small lease extension and moved, but it really felt dreadful to be treated that way as a long-time client.
