Peter's great expertise of the market is second to none. It provided me with comfort and a valuation I was very happy with. Summer was particularly superb at managing the sale process. She was very attentive and knowledgable of the finer details, while also efficiently keeping the solicitors on track. Great experience from start to finish, highly recommend.

They have been so instrumental in my settling into Derby that I now relate with them as ‘family’. 10th Mar 2026 (8 days ago)I didn't have a good experience booking a viewing with Burchell Edwards (Belper). Once you're not interested in using their mortgage advisor, they come up with various excuses not to allow you to view the property. Going forward I will avoid looking at any houses they advertise.

3rd Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)This is the first time I've rented a place on my own I had no idea what I was doing...bit daunting if I'm honest....booked my viewing and was met by the lovely Alexandra from Beeston branch. She made me feel instantly at ease and explained everything to me and made this whole process a dream!! She's been amazing the whole way and I got my keys today (3rd Feb 2026) would highly recommend based on the service I received and I know if I have any worries or need to ask anything I'll be looked after.

6th Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)Phoned up to enquire on a property they had advised for sale met with a complete lack of interest from the staff member who was not only rude but dismissive, fortunately the house is advertised with another agent where we have been able to since view the property with no hassle! If you are thinking of selling or looking to buy completely avoid these bunch of clowns.

We chose Whitegates Ilkeston having had valuations and quotations from 3 estate agents and from first to last we had no doubt we had made the right decision. From explaining that two sales contracts would be needed to take account of our circumstances to accompanied viewings with feedback on each of them and liaising with us on offers, the service was exceptional. Highly recommended.

5th Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)Abode have been excellent from start to finish. So helpful. There were no ‘extra’ charges for services e.g. 360 room tour; as we have experienced with an other estate agent. Their eagerness to sell our property, attitude and communication were top notch - and a special mention to Bethany. Extremely happy with the service we’ve received.
17th Dec 2025 (13 weeks ago)Recently sold a property with these, I honestly can’t recommend them enough . From the initial valuation right up until the day of the sale the whole team were amazing. The team kept in contact effectively and aired their opinions on proceedings and offer advice to aid with the sale. All questions I had (no matter how stupid) were answered in a friendly professional manner. All viewings on the property were booked and handled by the team and feedback was honest and delivered in a timely manner. Not once was I pressured or hassled into using any of their services but was advised of the services they offered . All the team seemed to be in the loop of the progression so was able to responded to all queries no matter the day I contacted them. 100% these guys would be my first port of call if I was to sell a property again in future.

18th Jul 2024 (1 year ago)Wanted details on the Southwell Prebend house after a while I received it requested further information and a guidance on price and a viewing no reply a very well known Southwell resident who I visit discussed it with me ,I wasn't saying I was going to buy it but it would have helped if I was at the very least been given further information . Any how I gave up!! As far as I'm aware unless an agreement has been made which hasn't it should be open for a viewing.

THEN CAME JMS ... ((WOW)) What a diamond find, excellent service, superb knowledge, wonderful personalities, tremendous communication skills and MOST IMPORTANTLY ...a WE can do approach. None of this you'll have to do that we have someone who can do that THEY JUST DID. Ahhh Sam, she’s so perceptive and intuitive she was such a pleasure to view properties with (she also knows her stuff!). Liz has been so kind and helpful through the whole process, it’s actually been such a pleasure ??I know it takes a team so thank you to everyone x

24th Feb 2026 (22 days ago)Awful estates agents. Emails get ignored, when repairs need doing. Only wanting to take the rent each month. Left me with a damp moldy ceiling for over a year. Was without heating in sub 0 temperatures. Avoid at all costs. If I could leave less than 1 star I would. When we lost 2 family members in 4 week Patrick said life goes on! He's a complete waste of space.
11th Feb 2026 (5 weeks ago)UPDATE IM STILL WAITING FOR REPAIRS! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING UPDATE- STILL AWAITONG REPAIRS 14 MONTHS LATER. Still waiting for repairs i reported in October, happy to contact me when they put my rent up but won't fix any problems, disgusting.<br><br>Attached other reviews to show how incompetent they are
