Communications is very important during what can be a stressful experience they were brilliant keeping us informed at all times. Would thoroughly recommend them.

17th Apr 2026 (22 days ago)Beware when your purchaser takes out a mortgage through your estate agent Would like to give zero but not allowed . In my opinion Ashbourne Bagshaws Residential protected a so called ‘hot buyer ‘ to the detriment of my sale. Helen (manager) lied to my face and said sale was going well . All the while she knew the so called ‘buyer’ had no mortgage or buildings regulations for a conversion ie not proceedable . Nor even had they 5 weeks later carried out the security checks for conveyance . I lost property after property . This is now a law suit and far from me being a tricky vendor the purchaser were not proceedable at that time. Over 4 months later l withdrew as still no Exchange . Connells the owner of Bagshaws Residential were willing to completely forget their duty to me in favour of this so called hot buyer . They were happy to let this go on month after month until the purchaser was able to proceed. In my opinion it is dishonest to favour a buyer because they were purchasing their mortgage through Connells .

She was professional, responsive and a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Communication was always clear and prompt, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. Highly recommended.

30th Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)We have recently completed on our dream family home which we found through King West. We originally viewed the home last year but was not in a position to proceed, however after we sold our home early this year we found our dream home had still not sold and we were able to proceed! The whole process from start to finish was seamless with Lois being our main point of contact. As the home is an older property we needed lots of visits and surveys, but this was never an issue with King west (Lois) always being so accommodating! Lois and the team’s communication is just seamless and makes which is usually a stressful life event so easy. Thanks again to King West!

Paul Petticrew took the time to, publish professional photos and videos of our house and handled all viewings and provided regular feedback. Superb!!

1st Mar 2024 (2 years ago)Just finished our tenancy agreement after 2 years 3 months. The whole Preferential team have been fantastic but specially Emma K since I dealt with her from day one till the end of the tenancy, she is brilliant. to be fair they always fixed any fault in the property pretty quickly so thanks to Victoria for this. I did not deal much with the director Simon but he did some adjustments to my contract to be able to give the month notice from the day I exchanged contracts of the property I purchased so thanks for this. From our side we have kept the property always clean and taken care of it as if it was ours. I recommend Preferential.

22nd Nov 2022 (3 years ago)As a purchaser, dealing with all members of the T&C team in Stamford throughout the viewing, negotiating and pre-contract phases was a thoroughly professional experience. When a Grade II listed property is involved, there are likely to be wrinkles. Still, Jan, in particular, was a highly responsive conduit between the seller and us, ensuring matters were attended to correctly and timely. The sale and contracts are now exchanged, with both parties happy - the exact definition of a good negotiation outcome.

As a first time buyer she was really supportive and gave great guidance throughout. She was flexible and active when answering inquiries and made the whole process run as smoothly as it could. I highly recommend Tracey if you choose her you are in safe hands.

9th Nov 2025 (6 mo. ago)I got the impression this estate agent puts your details on rightmove and then forgets about you until someone enquires about it. Communication is non-existent, had to chase them about getting feedback from each viewing. Initial meetings were great, but as soon as the house was put on the market, the communication stopped.
