16th Sep 2023 (2 years ago)Norgans have great knowledge of the Hitchin property market and whilst their valuation was markedly different from the other agents we approached , their valuation proved to be far more realistic . Excellent communication throughout the process despite deteriorating market conditions and a house close to the railway line that put off several viewers

We got great advice about our potential buyers and situations so we could accept the best overall offer for us. Alex kept us informed throughout the whole process and we wouldn’t hesitate to sell through them again and recommend others to use them.

13th Apr 2026 (26 days ago)Just awful. Very friendly when I walked in to their office to ask for a valuation of my property in anticipation of selling. After that it was just all downhill. Zero communication from that point. Agent who came to do the valuation arrived late (no apology), whizzed around the house in 5 minutes to then tell me that it was completely as he had expected (why bother coming at all then), gave me a verbal valuation and then nothing was ever heard from the agent again. There are 10 physical estate agents to choose from in Harpenden. This should be your tenth choice, or lower if you want to use the online agents instead.

R & H were brilliant in advising very precisely on price, which they got just right, and explaining the process. Their brochure was good. They sold the property for us pre-auction, at above the reserve. They were professional throughout and what was most important, always kept us in touch.
