30th Jul 2026 (24 days ago)I would highly recommend Straffords. From start to finish, the service we received was excellent. Luke was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. He was always available to answer any questions and kept us updated every step of the way. Even while he was on holiday, he still took the time to respond, which really showed his commitment and professionalism. Leon was also fantastic and always responded quickly to any emails or queries we had. The whole process of letting our property was made so much easier thanks to their knowledge, communication and support. Straffords did a fantastic job marketing the property, with brilliant photography and a Rightmove listing that really showcased it well. They helped us find a suitable tenant and guided us through the process smoothly from beginning to end. Even now, we know we can get in touch with them if we need any help or advice, which gives great peace of mind. Thank you, Luke, Leon and the team at Straffords, for all your hard work. We really appreciate everything you have done and would happily recommend you to anyone looking for a professional and reliable letting agent.
7th Nov 2024 (1 year ago)No. Just no. Constant trespassing on property by teens, old enough to know better, have led us to complain - to no avail.l, so must go civil, apparently. They wait until we are not home, throwing balls at house, or playing on our patio, uninvited and while we are out, until one of them gets hurt on our owned property, we are left responsible. Countless emails to this agent, and videos. Was asked by police if I wanted to file a formal report and said no, thinking this agent would be reasonable as in, how would he like it if this were happening to him? A decision I regret, but now see this is harassment of us, as two older women living together, alone, perhaps, to regard us with interpreted LGBT discrimination? Or probably seen as vulnerable? Not sure which…because I cannot understand why an agent wouldn’t want to ensure the peace and safety of surrounding properties, and their owners. Makes no sense. Also, These are Not children - teens, old enough to know better. Tried speaking, kindly, to one of the mothers of these kids only to be sworn at for all neighbourhood to hear. Sent to agent - nothing. Rules for freehold property ownership not being upheld, and intimidation and harassment of two older women living alone.

14th Aug 2026 (9 days ago)The photography was 5star and the online advert was very good. However the handling of viewings was varied with the different estate agents seeming to have different levels of skill about selling the house and it's location. Communication was poor. I had to call them repeatedly for updates even when they had said that someone would call me. All the staff from Connells were impeccably turned out and very polite and friendly.

21st Feb 2022 (4 years ago)All staff have been absolutely fantastic for the 16 months that we have rented with them. Always helpful, professional and kind. We have rented for years and really wish that all Estate agents could be like the Milton Keynes team.

20th Apr 2026 (18 weeks ago)I've not had a great experience with these people. One lady telling me I've said things i haven't and it wouldn't hurt if she smiled a bit. Also have repeatedly asked for my holding deposit back as promised but they keep making empty promises.

19th May 2025 (1 year ago)Thomas Connelly have been good trying to sell our house. They have been polite and courteous when reaching out, and they have tried different things to push the sale. I would have really liked more feedback and more of a push from there end to get creative in the sale space but I feel the experience overall is a positive one.

24th Jul 2026 (30 days ago)Ivor and the team at Lafford James<br><br>Just wanted to thank you again for all your hard work not just with our sale but also finding a buyer for our buyers house in such a short time which enabled the whole chain to proceed<br>Also keeping us informed on both transactions including updates on mortgage progress, searches etc<br><br>I think the street app is definitely the way forward for estate agents as it gives more transparency re buyers names ,position ,dates etc<br><br>Not forgetting<br>Organising electrician /gardeners /cleaners /staging /viewings etc<br><br>I briefly met the new owners<br>I’m glad it’s gone to a nice young growing family which my late mother and step father would have appreciated.<br><br>Kind regards<br>A waller

20th Aug 2026 (3 days ago)The agents here are clearly game players and out for themselves I offered the full asking price which was agreed. The agent Kyle Wells also said he cancelled all seven viewings, even took it off the market. Just for him to call me a day later and say “ the seller has decided to go with someone who’s in a better position than you”. Errrm I’m a first time buyer I’m not in any chain, my position doesn’t get any better than that. So basically he was lying from the get go he didn’t cancel the viewings got a higher offer and then tried to make out I wasn’t in a good position using reverse psychology against me to cover up your scheme very low. I would waste my time with these again.

Valuation was absolutely on the money, they knew their people who were looking to buy and what was important to them they matched a family with our property and they bought it and love the house. We did not even need to advertise. They worked so hard to keep everyone in the chain updated, we never had to chase them as they always kept us notified. I would recommend to anyone wanting to sell or buy. Brilliant experience.

10th May 2022 (4 years ago)1st Choice a friendly family run business always maintained excellent communication which I really liked, if I had any problem weekday, weekend, or on a holiday, Kelly would reply back to my messages for support very quickly and same day. When I moved in to the property it was fully refurbished to an excellent standard. One time during winter I had a problem with my boiler with no heating for a few days. I made one call to 1st Choice and Mark dropped off some electric heaters, untill we got it fixed through Mear's. Anyone looking for property to rent then I would definatley recommend 1st Choice.

We can't thank the team enough for everything they did to help us secure our new home. After having to pull out of a previous purchase with a different estate agent in town, we were worried about losing our buyers and thought our move might fall through.<br><br>From the moment we found our new home with Connells, they were proactive, professional, and kept everyone moving throughout the process. Thanks to their hard work and excellent communication, we managed to complete in just four weeks, which meant we were able to keep our buyers and stay on track with our move.<br><br>Nothing was ever too much trouble, and Jason & Hannah always on hand to answer questions and keep us updated.<br><br>A special mention has to go to Luke, the Branch Manager, who went above and beyond during the final week. Even though he was on annual leave, he still kept on top of everything, making calls, chasing updates, and ensuring the sale stayed on track. That level of dedication and commitment is rare to find, and without his efforts, I don't think we would have met our deadline.<br><br>We honestly couldn't recommend them highly enough.
