Annie calmly guided us though several tough decisions based on experience and a feet on the ground, down to earth feel for the market. We’re very happy with the outcome as are our buyers.
14th May 2026 (7 weeks ago)A definite 5 star rating from me. In a more challenging property market, Angie and Nick got us live on Rightmove extremely fast (we already had a valid EPC). Within a few days they had qualified 5 interested parties and suggested they arranged back to back viewings on the Saturday. By the following Monday afternoon we had 3 offers and were guided as to which was the most proceedable. We followed their advice and exchanged yesterday!! All through the process they have been incredibly supportive and the communication has been exceptional. A massive thanks from Debs and I

Communication is clear and timely, matters are dealt with efficiently, and we always know where things stand.<br><br>What stands out most is their proactive approach and willingness to help. Whether dealing with routine management matters or more complex issues, they are approachable, knowledgeable and quick to respond.<br><br>After our previous experience, it has been refreshing to work with a company that delivers on its promises. 12th Jun 2026 (23 days ago)I find the way our applications have been handled to be highly unprofessional.<br><br>While I understand that sometimes a landlord may choose another applicant, this has now happened three times. That is not something that can simply be put down to bad luck. Each time, we receive updates from your agency and respond promptly, but then we are left waiting for one or two days without any clear communication. During that time, we are led to believe that we may still receive an offer, only to later find out that the property has been given to someone else.<br><br>What is most frustrating is the lack of transparency. If there is an issue with our application, or if the landlord is not interested in renting to us, I would much rather be told directly and honestly. Repeatedly keeping us waiting and giving us hope, only for the property to go to someone else, is unfair and wastes our time.<br><br>At this stage, it genuinely feels as though your agency is not interested in renting a property to us. If that is the case, it would have been far more professional to communicate that clearly from the beginning rather than keeping us waiting.<br><br>This is now the third time we have experienced the same situation with your agency, and it has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. Because of this experience, I would not recommend your agency to others.

1st Jun 2026 (5 weeks ago)V&H Homes were absolutely brilliant! I can highly recommend them to both sell and buy through. Clare and Maria were my main points of contact. They were highly professional and the communication between the agency, vendors, solicitors and myself were fantastic.
17th Aug 2025 (10 mo. ago)Went down auction route , communication poor , didn’t return calls , over valued property, when asked to supply solicitors had to chase up to find who was dealing with it ! Not very impressed with whole experience so far , have used Cobham branch before with move and that was brilliant no issues ! Will wait to see final outcome!

They also work so well as a team in the Dorking branch, offering support whenever needed in a process that is never straightforward, but their knowledge and guidance was so helpful throughout. 22nd Dec 2021 (4 years ago)I cannot say enough about V&H Homes and specifically Maria at the Ashtead Branch. While they are a smaller independent agent, they will absolutely give you the personalized service that an independent can provide. Give those big estate agents in Surrey a miss, take your business to V&H. The communication throughout the process was exemplary, the dedication to getting the sale was second to none. We had tried to sell previously with the usual suspects in Surrey and none of them could get the sale and it seemed hopeless, V&H got it done in 10 days! There were many times in our sale where things got rocky and Maria went well over and above day in and day out to ensure that everything went through. I truly believe that if we had went with another big establishment high street agent that our sale would not have happened. While Maria was absolutely amazing, we also had interactions with the other associates at Ashtead V&H Homes. When Maria was out of office our file was well looked after, the service didn’t slip at all which is very rare in a sales situation. As I said at the beginning of this review, I really can’t say enough about Maria and V&H. These days reviews are either 5* or 1* and it’s getting more and more difficult to sift through them to make a decision. This is 100% a genuine 5* review. Were there issues in the sales process, of course there were, we were selling a house. But it wasn’t about the issues, it was about how they were handled, the speed at which they were handled, and the fact that when something came up we were never left to worry, V&H were always just a phone call or e-mail away. Thank you so much Maria and V&H Homes for the personalized service and all the time and effort that you spent on our file. We absolutely owe our sale and the fact that we are snugly in our new home all to you! Very best regards, Danny

Jemma and Alia kept me fully informed of the progress and responded to all of my queries promptly. I would recommend the estate agent, Jemma and Alia without reservation.

27th Jun 2026 (8 days ago)I had an extremely disappointing and distressing experience with Ralph James while trying to rent a property at Helena House, Royal Earlswood, ahead of starting my new job at East Surrey Hospital.<br>I viewed the property with an agent named Hugo Cina. Following the viewing, I received what appeared to be legitimate emails containing the tenancy agreement and payment instructions. During the process, I was told that iI needed to pay the 5 weeks rent as deposit at first, and then told to pay 2 weeks rent as deposit for them to send me the contract letter. When I questioned why I was being asked to pay more than the usual holding deposit- which is one week's rent, I was encouraged to make the payment quickly so that the tenancy could proceed.<br>I subsequently received bank account details that I was told belonged to the landlord and, relying on those instructions and the accompanying telephone conversations, transferred £346. I have retained copies of the emails, call records and payment confirmation.<br>The following day, when I contacted the agency, I was informed by a senior member of staff, Sam, that their email system had been compromised. Since then, despite numerous phone calls and emails to both Sam and the Head of Lettings, Katie, I have received no meaningful response or assistance regarding the money I lost.<br>I have now submitted a formal police report regarding the suspected fraud. The lack of communication and support from the agency after being informed of the incident has been extremely disappointing.<br>Whether the payment resulted from a compromise of their systems or another cause is something for the relevant authorities to investigate. However, as a prospective tenant, I acted entirely in good faith, relying on communications that appeared to come directly from the agency.<br>Based on my experience, I cannot recommend using this agency. I hope they improve their security, communication and support for customers who find themselves in situations like mine.<br><br>I would not recommend their services as they are not secure, professional and aren't helpful at all.
