From the first day we were shown a house to finish, they stood by us and are always available to let you know the true state of things. We were first time buyers with no idea of the mortgage market. They introduced us to a financial broker and solicitors who were geniuses in the mortgage market. Everything went smoothly and fast. We can't thank you enough. Great Team.

27th Feb 2026 (20 days ago)Very disappointed. My allocated parking space is always taken by another car, and I cannot park my own car. Management cannot provide documents to prove it is my space. I am now thinking to call the police, which is unacceptable for a resident. Second problem: the remote fob does not work. This issue is not fixed for months. I cannot open the barrier, so I can’t even receive deliveries to my flat. Very poor communication and no real solutions. Yevhen, 19 Pinnacle House
26th Feb 2026 (21 days ago)Jamie Leach has just rented out a property for us. The service he gave was excellent - always returning calls, answering all our questions and generally doing an excellent job. We have dealt with Martin Allsuch for some years and can recommend them most highly.
26th Feb 2026 (21 days ago)We chose Phil and Richard at Your Move in New Cross because of their experience with EWS1 issues, and it was definitely the right decision. Our sale took nearly a year and had its challenges, but they stayed patient, proactive and kept everything moving. Communication was always clear and professional. In the end, they got it over the line and we’re really grateful for their hard work. Highly recommend. Cheers guys!

Clem and his team certainly went above and beyond finding me a new tenant. Would thoroughly recommend them for their professionalism, effort and communication. Well done.

I met Soraya, who is a very sweet and kind lady, and within six days I had the keys to our first rental. They were very professional and super quick to respond to messages. I highly recommend them!

Richard was particularly helpful; was extremely reliable and always replied promptly to any questions. Overall, I would recommend Chestertons to anyone looking to rent! The process of renting was both smooth and enjoyable. :)

Particularly, Dana and Anna have been very helpful and had an effective communication. Me, my friend and my cousin had dealt three properties and we have had the same brilliant experience. I wish them a lot of success and wish them best of luck to serve more to their clients and to the community.

19th Feb 2026 (28 days ago)My husband and I bought a house through Charles David Casson a couple years back and they were the worst part of the process. Their communication was poor from start to finish. They recommended the worst solicitors, DO NOT go for the solicitor they recommend. They failed to adequately arrange viewings and made the process HELL. At several points I had to request their manager to intervene, who was equally useless. If you enjoy stress and headache, you can go for them. If the seller had not been so lovely and accommodating, we would not have got this sale over the line. We literally did all the work whilst they twiddled their thumbs and wasted our time. After the sale went through, they’ve been harassing me periodically to give a valuation of the house- in case I want to sell. Haunting me even to this day.
18th Dec 2025 (13 weeks ago)I feel very lucky to have worked with Liam during, what turned out to be an absolute nightmare of a house sale/move. Liam was always on the phone trying to resolve the difficulties and was instrumental in progressing my sale to completion. Poor Liam has been through all the highs and lows with me. There are not enough words to express my gratitude to him! The service I received was outstanding for a very competitive rate.
23rd Feb 2026 (24 days ago)Absolutely horrible experience. Flat flooded with water, bedrooms and beds absolutely soaked in disgusting dirty water, estate agents told us to book hotels and we’d get compensation, never did though. Never gave us a single penny back. Also told us we had to pay full rent even though the flat was uninhabitable. Bodrul was the worst of it, kept promising that he’d get in touch with us about getting us some money back, then never did. AVOID AVOID AVOID, disgusting estate agents with no morals. See the photos attached for the condition they left us in. I had to get in touch with plumbers and workers myself to get it fixed, they did absolutely nothing to help fix the leak upstairs as they claimed it had been fixed, when it was just getting worse every day. One of the estate agents even came over to view the damage, stood in a pool of the dirty water and muttered “get me out of this dump” thinking I didn’t hear him. Absolutely vile. Edit in response to the comment below: Firstly, I find it laughable that you say you acted promptly and actually blatant lie that you attended the same day. I'm actually glad you've admitted about the report being on the 24th of April, as the video and some of the photos taken below (with the water STILL dripping down) were taken on the 29th of April. I wonder how that's possible since you acted so promptly! Don't insult me by saying that my statement is incorrect, the plumbers I contacted were Camden Council's own plumbers. I have the voice note and recordings to prove this, and again, further proof that was me who sorted out the repairs to the upstairs flat. It's absolutely disgusting that you're trying to call me a liar in this situation, as I have actual proof that the statement is true. In fact, you are lying here saying it was Camden Council who told us to book into hotels, it was one of your staff who told us when he came to the flat who told us to submit receipts about a hotel expense! How can you so confidently lie about the turn of events? You've lied about the day it was fixed (I have dated evidence to show it wasn't fixed promptly on the 24th), you lie about who I contacted to actually fix the issue since you wouldn't do it (I have voice notes speaking with Camden Council plumbers to prove this), and you now lie about telling us to book into hotels. You did not relay any information to me, nor did you ever actually admit what the outcome of the insurance claim was. We're yet to ever find out about that, and it's funny that you don't mention that in your response!

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

27th Feb 2026 (20 days ago)Decided to use Durden & Hunt as they were local to me. Once we decided to put our house up for sale and it only took a week to sell. They managed my need when it came to viewing my house and arranged to carry them out the viewing all in one day.

25th Feb 2026 (22 days ago)I wrote the review below some 3 yrs ago and I would now like to update it as follows:<br><br>I have had the unfortunate experience of having to deal with a different Lettings Agent as that property unfortunately falls outside of Neilson & Bauer’s territory.<br><br>This has only reinforced my belief that Neilson & Bauer, led by their down to earth, tell it as it is, legendary, Don Lacovara are THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS.<br><br>I have had to repeatedly turn to Don’s good nature and ask him about the various different and somewhat frustrating approaches and ways of doing business this other agent has and Don has obliged by calmly guiding me through this turmoil.<br><br>I think it is about time that Neilson & Bauer expand their regional reach.<br><br>Written 3 yrs agp:<br>I am always taken aback at how professional, efficient and effective Neilson Bauer are in getting the job done. Don in charge of lettings is my go to person when I need a flat let.

Molly has been super helpful and always quick to respond, which makes such a difference when you’re trying to find a place. Every viewing has been handled professionally, and she’s been really informative throughout. She’s been completely on top of everything and is genuinely doing her best to help us.
