They were confident in the service they were providing and I felt throughout that they were giving me an accurate appraisal rather than saying what they thought I wanted to hear. They were always on time, responded quickly and helpfully to communications from me- including altering times at short notice to suit me. The viewing process was well managed. The whole team made the whole process surprise-free and painless.

The process can be gruelling and lengthy however Devon was always in touch and would get back to me regarding queries promptly. I feel he is a credit to your branch and I have been overall very pleased with how he dealt with our our purchase.

Many thanks ????????- 23rd Feb 2026 (19 weeks ago)I can't praise the Arnside office of Hackney & Leigh Estate Agents highly enough, I have had dealings with estate agents before when I sold my parents property, however I had never previously purchased a property for myself. I was in safe hands when I did, from start to finish they kept me aware of everything that was going on at every stage of the process. This service gave me a feeling of reasurance and confidence in the company and staff! I don't know if they are lucky recruiting the right staff or have a fantastic training courses, but whatever it is keep it up you are doing the right thing.

Samuel makepeace were amazing at arranging a viewing and dealing with my offer and acceptance in record time. Fast forward just over three months we have move in date set in the next two weeks time. Ella thank you for all your hard work, outstanding communication and of course being lovely friendly and professional with every communication we had. Thanks again all and I look forward to seeing you in a few weeks to collect my keys. Thank you for helping my impossible become my impossible

11th Jan 2026 (25 weeks ago)We are about to complete the purchase of a property through Thornley Groves estate agents in Hale. Buying or selling a house can be a stressful process, but the team at Thornley Groves were consistently professional, supportive, and impressive throughout. Chris, the branch manager, initially helped us with putting in our offer and was fair, transparent, and professional from the outset, which immediately gave us confidence in the process. Claire regularly checked in with both us and the vendor to ensure everyone was aligned and that all paperwork was progressing promptly. This made us feel well supported and helped keep things moving quickly without unnecessary delays. As we were part of a chain, there were some challenges in getting the top and bottom of the chain to agree on a completion date. Jamie, who originally showed us the property, was exceptional in handling this. She took the initiative to draft a detailed email, bringing all parties together, and used her professionalism and experience to resolve the situation and secure an agreed completion date. Her efforts were instrumental in ensuring a smooth conclusion to the transaction. Overall, I cannot recommend the team at Thornley Groves highly enough.
