11th Sep 2025 (7 mo. ago)After deciding to move to a family plot, we engaged with Sworders, who we have used many times before, for planning advice for a replacement dwelling. After getting some initial stellar advice from Clare Hutchinson, I was introduced to Hazel Izod who had only recently joined Sworders. As a former planning officer, Hazel immediately gave me confidence with her very detailed knowledge of the planning policies and laws but also understands the perspective of the planning authority, therefore providing solid and balanced advice to achieve our aims. Hazel expertly guided us through the process, helping us to overcome obstacles, explain concepts and I felt truly brought into our vision, becoming a strategic partner with us on this very personal and important journey. Whilst others may be well versed in the policies Hazel can interpret them with a practical and pragmatic approach, ensuring all elements are considered (including taking the likely views of the planning officer into account). Our application was successful on the first submission, and I have no doubt that this was largely down to Hazel’s expertise and input. We have subsequently instructed Hazel on various other planning applications (or preparation work) and have had the same impressive and responsive service. With one application, for a car port, the application was initially turned down due to the land we proposed building on being considered “open Hertfordshire countryside”. Within days of the refusal, Hazel had prepared a detailed and comprehensive appeal for the application, and the refusal was overturned. I have recommended Hazel to everyone who has asked me who I would recommend for planning advice, and she is literally on my speed dial when anything planning related comes up.

25th May 2023 (2 years ago)Arrogance at the highest level! Was informed 24 hrs prior that my valuation had to be moved as a staff meeting was more important. Already booked the day off so fuming at the complete dis regard of this outfit. Completely unprofessional and extremely arrogant in my opinion!!!! Lesson learned!!!

I'm currently coming to the end of the tenancy with Alberly Tyson, The staff have always been friendly, polite and professional. Alberly Tyson was supportive through both the moving-in period and the moving-out period, Giving us clear instructions on what we need to do throughout the process. I would definitely use again or recommend to a friend.

They were always available for viewings at any time for potential buyers and kept us updated on progress and always fed back in a timely manner Would recommend using Giggs if you have one in your area

Tate provided updates well into the evenings and poked the other side to get the deal done within our timeframe. Couldn't have done it without him and very impressed by the level of service!

Even so, we were completely blown away by the high standard of service, support and advice we received throughout the process of selling our home. The current system for buying & selling homes in the UK is out dated and simply put it increases the stress and worry for sellers and buyers alike. Round & Jackson are a local, independent team who really understand this, they are passionate and dedicated to provide support throughout the process and actively strive to reduce stress and worries. Putting our property on the market was sleek, we were invited to input and were given constructive advice on every aspect. When receiving our draft details, we were delighted to see that the marketing not only gave an accurate representation of our property but also, they were written and presented uniquely to our property. Viewings were carried out with the upmost professionalism with the whole team committed to ensure that potential buyers could view at their convenience with timely feedback sought after every viewing. We have sold our property at a time when the property market is incredibly busy, however Round & Jackson were still able to ensure that the sale went through as timely as possible, having a clear handle at all times on exactly what stage in the process we were at and that we were kept updated. No query or question was ever too much trouble for them to answer and they were incredibly approachable and proactive in ensuring that the process was as straightforward as it could be for both us and the buyers of our property. On their website, Round & Jackson introduce themselves as offering a “modern approach with honest and traditional values and we aim to provide the highest level of service to sellers and buyers” our experience is that they absolutely achieve this and more. When you have been through the selling process you completely understand the importance of this, without doubt we would return to Round & Jackson in the future. Your experience as a seller gives good insight into the conduct and ethics of an Estate Agent and if buying, unquestionably a property marketed by Round & Jackson would give us complete confidence as a buyer. At the start of the process, it is easy to underestimate the importance and value of using an excellent agent. There is so much to say about this amazing team, so many small and big things that they do to proactively support the process, their expertise and professionalism are exceptional and we would highly recommend anyone selling or buying to contact Round & Jackson

I had to chase mostly for feed back on viewings and I never felt that communication was as it was promised in the beginning. It’s a difficult market so it’s hard to say what and how the flat would have sold price wise and time wise in a better market overall I would say average

13th Sep 2025 (7 mo. ago)I was impressed with Lianne's honesty initially and she managed to find a cash buyer for our property quickly. At the time we instructed her/Woodhead And Co, she promised a £500 refund off her fee if I left a video review of her company. I agreed to this. The sale of our property completed and for that I am grateful to Lianne. It was not an easy property to sell. After completion and several requests to make said video review, at first this seemed like it would be accommodated but then the company went cold and didn't honour an arranged meeting to make the video and then ignored my subsequent enquiries as to what had happened. Therefore I can not leave the positive review I had intended to leave before this final treatment of a discarded client.

16th Sep 2025 (7 mo. ago)The first meeting I had was with Catherine to introduce Savills of Banbury to me and to value the property, then everything was pasted over to Francesca Moss. Francesca was so efficient and helpful and very uplifting. We laughed a great deal which made the whole experience of selling and buying no where near as stressful as it can be. I have moved and developed several houses, dealt with estate agents and never have I had this level of efficiency and fun as Francesca made this sale.- This agent doesn't have any reviews

We dealt with other estate agents in our buying process who left a lot to be desired to say the least and showed the vast gulf in class between local everyday operators and Eliza. Will be recommending her to anyone that asks!
