17th Jun 2026 (18 days ago)I had a fantastic experience with Brown & Merry Stony Stratford, and I would especially like to highlight Alexandra Read for her outstanding support throughout the process.<br><br>I attended around 7–8 viewings and met several different agents, but none were as helpful, approachable, and genuinely positive as Alexandra. From the outset, her communication style was warm, professional, and reassuring, making the entire experience feel smooth and well-managed.<br><br>She demonstrated a strong understanding of how to adapt her approach to different clients, which made interactions feel both personal and efficient. From the initial viewing through to the referencing and application process, she maintained clear and consistent communication via both email and phone, ensuring everything progressed quickly and without stress.<br><br>Overall, the service was excellent, and Alexandra in particular made a potentially stressful process feel straightforward and well supported. I would highly recommend both her and Brown & Merry Stony Stratford to anyone looking for a reliable and professional letting experience.

18th Jun 2026 (17 days ago)I missed a call from them on Friday 12th June in which they asked about my availability for viewing a property. I called them back several times and left voicemails/enquired about the property again online and was ignored. Found out this is because they are marketing for Lomond who is a company that seems to have bought every new build in Upton and are being selective about who lives in their properties (besides using affordability as a measure, which would make sense in itself). Meaning myself and pregnant partner missed out on a chance to move into a larger house prior to the baby being born.<br>Would rate them lower if I could - would not recommend renting or buying through William H Brown/Lomond.
28th Apr 2026 (10 weeks ago)First dealing with O'Riordan Bond. Refusal to give holding deposit and argued that an IVA wasnt disclosed but was clearly disclosed in black and white. When confronted spoken with Clare, service was appalling and was heard smiling over the phone. If I could give 0 stars I would. Absolute joke, would not use and would suggest anyone to look elsewhere.

We've just used Howkins and Harrison again to sell another property. They continue to be very professional and hard-working. You can trust their advice and I feel that without their expertise, the property chain would have broken. Thank you for getting us through a stressful time!
25th Jun 2026 (10 days ago)I've dealt with estate agents before, but this company was an absolute joke.<br><br>They were completely unwilling to do their jobs and made little to no effort to follow up with or chase the landlord for answers to basic questions. They seemed to have very limited information about the property and constantly told us to call the office, only for the office to have no additional information either.<br><br>The overall service was extremely unprofessional. One of the final frustrations was their refusal to release the keys without a face-to-face ID check, despite already having taken and verified our ID at the start of the process.<br><br>Whenever shortcomings in their service were raised, they hid behind the "new renters' rights" legislation, even when it was completely unrelated to the issue being discussed. It felt more like an excuse than a genuine explanation.<br><br>In summary, I found them lazy, unprofessional, and uncooperative. I would not recommend them based on my experience.
