7th Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)They artificially inflate reviews after each negative review, so be careful. Blocked access and unprofessional conduct; jeopardising our property purchase. We are currently in the process of purchasing a new home through Reeds Rains (acting for The New Homes Group) and, unfortunately, the experience has been quite challenging as we approach our March 31st exchange deadline. While we are committed to the purchase, we have encountered significant hurdles in completing basic due diligence. We have been trying to arrange a follow-up viewing for three weeks to take measurements and see parts of the property we haven't yet accessed, such as the backyard and the garage. Our main concerns include: Surveyor Access: It was disappointing that our surveyor was unable to inspect the garage because the representative on-site did not have the keys. Scheduling Issues: We waited two weeks for a Saturday appointment to accommodate the agency's schedule, only for a "calendar glitch" to result in a no-show while we were at the property. Lack of Prioritisation: Despite an apology and a promise that we would be prioritised for the following weekend, we have now been told those slots are full. As we work during the week, Saturday is our only option, a fact we made clear from the start. We simply want to view the property we are buying, take measurements for furniture, and ensure the unseen parts of property are in order. It is frustrating to feel that our purchase is being delayed by scheduling errors, especially when we are so close to exchanging contracts. We would have expected a more proactive approach to resolve these access issues, given the circumstances. Avoid Reeds Rain, specially if you are buying/renting in NE15, they only care till the point you are a prospect, once you convert then they don't prioritise you.

I was harassed by Teri Dunning’s emails telling me and pushing me to sell and leave my house with my stuff in time when I was not able to do so! I was explaining this many times to her but she knew better. Complete fail with dealing with disable people who can’t do things fast and in such a stress which can have very serious consequences on health and even life. They always took the time to explain everything to us and we always felt we could call them at anytime. They really are premier league and without doubt made the process less stressful than it otherwise would have been.

From the initial valuation right through to completion, the team was professional, responsive, and genuinely supportive. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process—they kept me informed at every stage and were always quick to answer any questions. Their knowledge of the local market was clear, and they worked hard to secure a great offer in a week. Sadly the buyer pulled out after delays in the chain but the Northwood team quickly got the property back on the market and secured us another great offer in a matter of days! What really stood out was their attention to detail and commitment to making the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. I felt confident I was in good hands from start to finish. The quality of the listing was excellent and they had professional photography not just someone snapping on their phone, which I do believe generated great interest. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to sell their home.

15th Apr 2026 (24 days ago)We all know moving home can be so stressful, selling my house through RMS in Fenham definitely relieved some of that stress. From the initial valuation through to completion, I was guided every step of the way. I am a complete luddite when it comes to online form filling, so probably saw more of the gang than your average customer ( me and Dylan should be exchanging Christmas cards!) My numerous queries, however trivial, were answered quickly and efficiently, by whichever member of the team that was unfortunate enough to take my call. I would not hesitate to recommend the Fenham branch 100%, can't thank the team enough for all their help.
8th Jan 2026 (17 weeks ago)They are nice people to deal with but their overall approach can only be described as passive. I made the running on price reduction and they just complied. Communication was poor . I had to chase them to get the result of a viewing. Overall, a wasted year.

My property was quite old and unique, so it needed a more thoughtful and tailored approach — which they absolutely delivered. Katrina was my main point of contact and was excellent throughout — incredibly understanding, patient, and always willing to go the extra mile. She took the time to really get to grips with the property and how best to present it. I also really appreciated the support from Denise, Megan, Hazel, and Alex, who all played a part in making the process run smoothly. I received lots of helpful advice along the way, from pricing to preparation, which made a big difference. They were also really strong when it came to negotiations and did a great job managing timelines, which helped keep everything on track and reduced a lot of potential stress. More generally, the whole team have a brilliant demeanour — really friendly, approachable, and easy to deal with. It was always simple to pick up the phone and speak to someone, and I never felt like I was being rushed or brushed off. Communication was consistent and clear, and I always felt supported and well-informed. Selling a more unusual home could have been stressful, but they made it feel much more manageable. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone, especially if your property needs a bit more care and attention than the standard sale.
