I know sellers back out sometimes but they handled it awfully, we had to learn it from our onwards, they gave no, explanation or advice and showed zero sympathy. They left us off the market for months and we missed several equiries and lost our onwards due to their ineptitude. To make matters worse they were almost double the price of other agents.

She helped us secure a property in our dream location and made everything, from the initial application to signing all the paperwork, so straightforward and stress-free.<br><br>She was always friendly, approachable, and happy to answer any questions we had. Her communication was excellent, and she kept us informed every step of the way, making what can often be a daunting process feel easy.<br><br>We're so grateful for all of Lucy's help and couldn't recommend her highly enough. Thank you for making our move into our dream location such a positive experience!

She was both friendly and professional and offered good communication throughout our dealings. So I can not speak for the rest of Proffitt and Holt as an agency, as I only really dealt with her and she was a very good representive and ambassador of them.

Playing games, not fufiling contracts and Oliver and manager there were engaging in clear unethical service practices and disgusting customer services carried out. They represent an dodgy estate perfectly. Nothing else positive.

From viewing the apartment to moving out, the team has been incredibly kind, professional, and supportive.<br><br>Whenever I had a question or needed assistance, they responded promptly and were always happy to help. Their communication by email is excellent, and it gave me real peace of mind knowing there was a team that genuinely cared about making me feel comfortable and at home, even as a tenant.<br><br>Having lived in London for over a decade, I can honestly say this level of service is rare. He was particularly good at negotiating and empathising with our buyers when a few things came out of the survey report which sent our buyers into a panic - he def changed my perception of the typical. Estate Agent !
9th Jul 2026 (10 days ago)Avoid Johns & Co if you value honesty, professionalism, and your deposit.<br><br>This has been one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve ever had with a letting agency.<br><br>After we moved out, the agency attempted to make a number of unreasonable deductions from our deposit. They even tried to charge us for cleaning stains that were already recorded on the original inventory report before we moved into the property. We have documentary evidence showing these marks existed from day one, yet they still expected us to pay.<br><br>We also stayed an additional five days after our tenancy ended. We fully accepted that we should pay for those extra days. However, the agency calculated the rent incorrectly and attempted to overcharge us. When I pointed out the errors and asked them to explain the calculation, their attitude changed completely.<br><br>Ironically, when they wanted to deduct more money from our deposit, they were sending multiple emails every day demanding payment and pushing for a quick response. The moment we challenged the charges with evidence, they suddenly became impossible to reach. Emails went unanswered for long periods, and communication almost stopped altogether.<br><br>To make matters worse, before we moved in, we were told that certain unwanted furniture would be removed. It never was. We ended up paying to dispose of it ourselves, only to be told after moving out that they were “unaware” of the arrangement.<br><br>As tenants, we honoured our obligations. Instead, we’ve had to spend weeks chasing replies, collecting evidence, disputing inaccurate charges, and escalating the matter through the official tenancy deposit dispute process.<br><br>This isn’t just about the money. It’s about transparency, accountability, and treating tenants fairly. Based on our experience, Johns & Co failed on all three.<br><br>If you’re considering renting through this agency, keep every email, every receipt, every photo, and every inventory report. You may need them.

His local knowledge was spot on, instead of dragging us through endless time-wasting viewings, he filtered our enquires and brought the right buyer to us and our home sold after just one viewing. He stayed on top of things throughout the sale too, chasing the solicitors when needed to keep everything moving. He was friendly and easy to deal with the whole way through, and it made the process so much less stressful than we expected.

9th Jun 2026 (6 weeks ago)The whole team at Petras are a pleasure to work with, Susie in particular, who helped us find our new home and found us a buyer for our old home and enabled a quick sale. The team were open in their communication and good at keeping us updated throughout. Susie is very well connected in the Earlsfield area and she is extremely personable, patient and helpful. We would recommend using Petras.

Poor at showing people around- I have cameras and heard a few remarks from the agent that were inaccurate and likely to put people off. Poor during initial conversation- making promises that were immediately broken about a house we loved that they were marketing. Also failed to carry out basic information gathering that we have later discovered is a legal requirement.

I commend the way that the lettings department and the sales department worked so closely together to get the job done. I never had to explain or repeat information already given, and you were all on top of the process the whole time. This is exceptional service.

What should have been a straightforward transaction became a complicated chain with numerous delays. However, Waqas always stayed on top of everything from start to finish.<br><br>He was always available, always chasing updates and always looking for solutions. There was times I know I was definitely his most demanding customers but he always remained patient and professional with us.<br><br>Highly recommended and genuinely the hardest working estate agent I’ve used.
