16th Jun 2026 (20 days ago)In the end Acorn Dulwich took over temporarily but managed to sell our property within a week, listen to our wishes and had great communication. The manager from Acorn Forest Hill Nellie left and someone called Carly took over and her communication was absolutely rubbish she booked in viewings and didn't turn up. Forest Hill Acorn needs more training with knowing how to deal with their clients. Acorn Dulwich the gentleman name Harry gets a 10 star from us!!!

14th Jun 2026 (22 days ago)I really dislike and distrust all estate agents, they are slimey little liars, desperate to make a sale for their commission, it's just a fact. They overprice almost every house on the market. Also a fact. Having said that I dealt with Will a while back, I was buying my first house and he was actually pretty decent, as far as estate agents go. Definitely gave us the sales speech, but ultimately I actually don't care, I am in my dream house. Having been lied to and strung out for literally years by other agents, dealing with Will was a good experience, he was great with communication and explained the process of buying a house. The most frustrating part for me is how they recommend their own solicitors/surveyors etc, as they say they can chase them and speed up the process etc, because it is companies they deal with. But I found these companies more expensive. When I chose my own through family or friends recommendations, it was definitely frowned upon and was clearly told it wasn't a good idea, it could take longer etc etc. But actually I saved money and it literally didn't take any longer at all. From putting an offer in, to my moving date it was 3 months!!! Which was helped by Will and both seller and us, the buyers, wanting the process to be fast. We were also told the sellers survey on the house was still in date and if we wanted to hurry the process further, we could use that. We decided yo pay for a good survey to ensure our money was being well spent. The idea of just trusting a survey because it was less than two years old rang alarm bells and it blew my mind it would be suggested. But estate agents are sharks. The day we moved in, I was emailed and asked to leave a review. Which always bugs me as I believe leaving a review should be organic and not asked of you. So I didn't bother at the time. I was recently contacted by phone and email, asking if I had considered selling, it's not even been two years... how desperate is the housing market?! I've dealt with every company there is in regards to buying a house and Will in particular is the only estate agent that I have ever truly liked or trusted! What he told me happened, he never actually told me what I wanted to hear, I actually felt he was quite honest. I have zero plans to ever sell my house, I plan to die in it then eventually haunt it. BUT should I ever change my mind I would deal specifically with Will.

They were always quick to respond to any questions and made everything straightforward and stress-free.<br>Their friendly approach and willingness to help gave me confidence at every stage, and I felt well supported from the initial viewing through to moving in. Thank you to the team for providing such excellent service.- 18th Feb 2026 (20 weeks ago)turned out to be a difficult sale due to the buyers solicitor being incompetent and unhelpful, the guys at your move were very helpful keeping up the pressure on the buyers to get the sale done and to resolve the problems that the buyers solicitors created, they were all ways there to talk to me and and keep things moving, i know that Dan the manager in the branch put a lot more effort into the sale than would normally be expected, So big thanks to Dan and his team. The only thing i would have some reservations about was their recommendation to use Homefast/PPL as my solicitors, they are cheap and work on a no sale no fee basis which is good and they are probably ok if your sale go's smoothly but i felt a bit left in the dark as they did not really keep me informed when problems and delays came up and it was not all ways easy to get in touch with them, there is very little direct contact with the solicitor appointed to your sale and the vast majority of thing are done through an online portal and not being a very competent computer user i did at times find it difficult. We got there in the end and Yourmove stuck with me and gave support all the way through so i would be happy to recommend them.

2nd Jun 2026 (5 weeks ago)We met Tommy Chalker a few months ago. He was very helpful in allowing us to see a property 3 times when we were not in a position to make an offer. By the time we did have an offer on our own house we had found another property which we liked equally. We knew Tommy had worked hard in getting the GJ property reduced to a price we could afford so it was disappointing that we opted for the other property. He was always, polite, efficient and accommodating. Excellent service! Many thanks Tommy and Garton Jones.

29th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)Jackie Bisset has been so helpful and understanding of our future home requirements and even though we did not progress with a particular property she understood our decision and will keep in touch for more suitable properties when they arise. She also showed genuine concern for us when we had an incident happen while we were on our way to a viewing resulting in us having to be recovered from the motorway. Her concerned phone calls were much appreciated.

16th Mar 2026 (16 weeks ago)Buying and selling a property is already a very stressful time and I found this estate agents overall poor, and general lack of communication exasperated what should be a simple part of the process in relation to viewing properties. I contacted the agency a number of times requesting a viewing to not get through to anyone or told to wait for a callback. When I did finally receive the confirmation, communication issues persisted with no replies to queries, a dead phone line when trying to call, and even a closed office even though we could see someone sitting in there. I was often given the excuse of a tech issue, but no other route to contact them was offered. We were left standing in the cold waiting for the viewing and 15 minutes late the door opened and it appeared the estate agent was waiting inside the whole time. I was very disappointed in the service and even if I was interested in the property I would think twice before buying in case the poor communication carried on delaying the sale.

She consistently kept in touch with me, even while I was on holiday, and worked hard to chase the seller’s solicitors due to the property being sold through probate. Chloe was always accommodating with my numerous visits to the property, including arranging access for my surveyors to carry out a Level 3 survey. She was incredibly friendly, professional, and supportive throughout the entire process, making my first-time buying experience a genuinely positive one. They even provided a first time buyers box as a welcome gift after I bought my property which was nice. I would highly recommend Chloe’s services moving forward.
