3rd Feb 2026 (14 weeks ago)We rented a property in Chingford from 1 February 2026 through Claremont Estates. Zak and Mafiz acted as a great bridge between us, the landlord, and Goodlord. The entire end-to-end process was smooth, efficient, and well explained step by step. The property was professionally cleaned and met a high standard. Everything was handled properly, and we are very satisfied with the experience.
29th Apr 2026 (10 days ago)one of agent named called yasmin howe is very rude and arrogant. also they hold my holding deposit and has not been returned yet. and still waiting please go for other agent and dont risk your money other agent ask holding deposit after ur offer accepted but this one ask holding deposit **before ** offer accepted and they hold all possible tenant money and dont return them until u ask them ragely save ur time .and go for better agent .

Must recommended from the a buyers perspective, they are very transparent, professional and on top their work!

7th Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)Imagine being so unprofessional that you schedule a viewing, talk so highly about your agency and then be extremely lame enough to not show up for the viewing. I had the absolute displeasure to deal with James Setright who scheduled a viewing and then forgot to show up at 308, Garratt Lane address at the time of the viewing. My partner travelled an hour to reach the address and then viola, nobody shows up, I call up and James picks up and tells me that there’s nothing he could do and the best he could do is to schedule it for another day. Whilst being civil and acting like he cared, there was absolutely no other alternative offered. I just feel sorry for the seller here, since they should pick up someone more professional and reasonable to deal with. To anyone at John D Wood who’s the owner, it’s not only hard to schedule viewings and reach your staff but they are just incredibly bad to deal with and make basic errors that are just blasphemous for. The nature of the business.

Booking viewings can often be a headache, but they made everything incredibly easy and professional. A huge thank you to Ara, Honor, and Emily, who were absolutely marvelous. They were punctual, extremely knowledgeable about the properties, and took the time to listen to exactly what I’m looking for. Their warm and friendly approach really sets this agency apart. Even though I’m still in the search process, the level of service I’ve received makes me feel very confident. I dealt with Stephen Waller in the branch who offered an impeccable service from the moment I first met him. He kept in touch through out the transaction, was always polite and professional, was constantly liasing with the solicitors and was a great help . She went out of her way to ensure a viewing for us before a family trip to Scotland & she was right when saying it was right for us. The rest of the team in Wickford have been great as well but Caroline desrves all the credit for finding us our perfect home. Thanks again to all involved

3rd Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)Truly the worst service one could experience from an estate agent. John and Mariem were extremely unreasonable, obstinate and down right rude. Refused to request items from the landlord like removing furniture and allowing keys to be returned early at end of tenancy. Our boiler broke on one of the coldest days in winter and we had to quote the unfit for habitation act before they responded to my requests to send someone to fix.

14th Apr 2026 (25 days ago)They sold a property (our next door) they left the signage right next to our car - it was clearly not installed properly - it fell over and damaged the paint on our car. We did speak to them and they passed us to the signage company - both companies are not happy to cover the cost of damages or provide insurance details for us to recoup our loss. They do not respond to our emails. Not very ethical company.
