It was a pleasure to be dealing with an intelligent, helpful and knowledgeab le person. My buyers benefited from Charlotte's expert guidance. Her concientious professional approach, especially monitoring solicitor's progress and ensuring any issues were swiftly resolved, made the whole process proceed smoothly.

5th Mar 2026 (19 days ago)Unprofessional. AVOID at all costs!!! I had a deeply upsetting experience with this agency, I can’t give it a zero, so I will give it a one. After a failed application, they attempted to unlawfully withhold my holding deposit of over £400 by misrepresenting the Tenant Fees Act 2019 and making factually incorrect claims about my guarantor’s residency status. As a foreign person living in the UK, I felt targeted by their intimidation tactics. Kier Hawkins was incredibly rude on the phone, he screamed at me and treated me like I was "dumb" for asking legitimate questions about my application and deposit. It felt like they were banking on me not knowing the local laws. It was only after I formally involved The Property Ombudsman in my emails that the Director finally agreed to a refund. Even then, the final correspondence from the office, including the director, was spiteful and unprofessional. They don’t care about tenants rights. If you are from any international background, please be very careful with this branch. They use bullying and misinformation to try and keep your money. Document everything and know your rights!

For the last year and a half Leon De Freitas has been the property manager for the flat, and I wanted to use this platform to recognize, publicly, his formidable service in this role. He wrote to me to introduce himself upon taking up his appointment, and from that moment on he has been the most wonderful supporter and colleague imaginable. Proactive, enthusiastic, and utterly reliable, he has the patience of Job, and my property could not have been in better hands. I thank him most sincerely for his professionalism, integrity, and dedication to his position, and I have no doubt that he has an exceptionally fine future in real estate ahead of him. John Trapé

Even though we purchased another property, he recently contacted us again, to see how the search was going and to catch up. Exemplary.
5th Nov 2025 (20 weeks ago)My experience with this agency has been extremely disappointing. From the start, communication was almost impossible — we called and sent several messages for over a week before anyone responded. When someone finally did, they were rude and even hung up on us. Despite that, we gave them another chance and eventually managed to view a property we were genuinely interested in. Throughout the process, there was no accountability, no apology for the poor communication, and very little professionalism. After making an offer, we were told the landlord needed tenants to move in within a week, which was completely unrealistic. We waited days for updates, only to be told later that we should continue our search elsewhere. This entire process wasted two weeks of our time and left us feeling disrespected and frustrated. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this agency unless they seriously improve their communication, professionalism, and respect for clients.

This man should not be on the road, very dangerous driving, stuck his finger out the window as he cut me up doing around 60mph in a road works 40mph on the a428. Then proceeded to overtake an artic lorry while another lorry was oncoming and had to move into the layby. He got that far.... 10 minutes later I seen parked up in waitrose bedford car park, He should not be driving at all let alone CBRE.

From start to finish, he was incredibly responsive to our needs and truly went above and beyond at every stage. When we experienced delays and poor communication from our conveyancer, Louis stepped in without hesitation, helping to move things forward and keep the transaction on track. His proactive approach made a real difference and significantly reduced what could have been a very stressful situation. What really stood out was how patient and supportive he was throughout the process. He always gave us the space to make decisions in our own time, and no question was ever too much trouble. The level of service we received was second to none. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Louis and the team at Hindhead to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.
27th Jan 2026 (8 weeks ago)If I could give no stars I would. Will, who said he was the manager of the two Hackney branches, really could not manage a rice pudding. He was enthusiastic until the sale was agreed and then didn't want to bother with any communicating thereafter. He gave the clear impression that he just needed to sit back, do nothing more and wait for the commission to role. He gave clear indications that he did not have time to try and help progress the sale because he was too busy trying to make other property sales. I came away with the definite idea that Dexters work on agreeing as many sales as they possibly can and then do nothing thereafter and keep their fingers crossed that the sale completes. They work on quantity of sales and not quality of service. What Will does not take into account is that buying and selling is very stressful for the buyers and sellers and part of the agents job should be to be very active in progressing the sale and keeping in communication with other agents and the buyers and sellers until the sale is complete. Avoid listing your property for sale with Dexters to avoid disappointment.

Always available, always charming, always diligent in following up the slightest lead. He has already achieved a sale with one and I am sure will soon do so with the second.Very happy to have been introduced to him.

A special mention to Agent Ganesh, who was very professional, responsive, and helpful at every step. He explained everything clearly, arranged viewings promptly, and ensured the handover went smoothly. Overall, a very pleasant and hassle-free experience. Highly recommended.

13th Mar 2026 (11 days ago)You couldn't be in better hands. Trust is hard to find in too many settings nowadays. Too many times one deals with broker companies charging for no real services or finds dishonest, hidden or surprise fees. With Sam and her team, you will find the exact opposite, an oasis in the desert. There, the human connection is real and primary. If you are a good actor in the business, you will want to connect with Village Properties. Sam was the first local person we chatted and trust in the country, we were abroad and hadn't moved in yet. The friendlyness, will to help us and professionalism were key to gain our trust. Even after we arrived and had no direct business with Village Properties, the availability to receive and help us, was always present. A google review is easily manipulated or streched. That's why you should give them a call, or better even, stop by, and you will see what I mean. Too many bad actors out there, it's hard to write so many bad heavy reviews. But when you find a truly good actor, you have to highlight them properly. For us it's truly a pleasure to write this review. Trust me, landlord, tenant, buyer or seller, you want to be in the hands of Sam and Village Properties.
