It's a tough market at themoment, but my property was given a high estimate that I don't think reflected the situation. The team are nice but I did have to chase a few times to get feedback and receive a call back.

The property was handed to us in a great condition. Ines and Sean have been really helpful in communication and checking in between us and the sellers. We are really happy with this purchase.

Since meeting John in 2008, I have been exceptionally pleased with the letting agent, landlord relationship. John’s team’s market knowledge, professionalism, attention to detail and ability to work effectively with me being an overseas landlord with an 11 hour time difference has been invaluable. As a landlord, expect the human touch, pragmatism, practical and cost effective solutions to fixes, refurbishment. I can count the void period on my London flat in weeks on one hand - an achievement over a seventeen year period and testimony to the teams ability to attract contract and sustain lasting lease relationships. I would recommend John and team whole heartedly. SALES AGENT: John and Emma Mackie have successful sold my flat in Hammersmith. Initial my London flat and do the last 17 years a rental investment. John and Emma effectively appraised the flat, helped me get cost effective and excellent decorators to ready it for sale and ran a successful campaign resulting in 5 sealed bids. Emma and John were highly effective, personable and insightful throughout the sales process and helped my wife and I navigate the usual complexities of selling a house coupled with myself being based in a different time zone. 3rd Mar 2026 (16 days ago)I recently dealt with Greg James Estate Agents while trying to purchase a property, and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. I found them to be rude and unprofessional in their communication. At what should already be a stressful time when trying to buy a house, I felt they lacked courtesy, transparency, and basic professionalism. I do not believe they acted in the right manner during the process, and their conduct left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a potential buyer. Buying a home is a significant financial and emotional commitment, and I expected a much higher standard of service. Sadly, this was not the case. Based on my experience, I would not recommend them.

They worked collaboratively, listened carefully to my pricing strategy, and did not apply pressure to reduce the asking price simply to secure a quick sale. Communication was consistent and clear throughout — from listing the property all the way through to exchange — and they liaised effectively with my solicitor to keep the process moving. As a local business, they know the area well and I was pleased to support them. Overall, I felt well looked after and would happily recommend them. Thank you, James and your team!
