Ollie offered clear answers, prompt updates, and genuine advice. He chased solicitors and coordinated tradespeople when needed- keeping things moving quickly and smoothly. He's a fantastic communicator and great representative of the Hunter French team. We would happily trust Ollie to handle any future sales or purchases on our behalf.... 3rd Jul 2026 (7 weeks ago)Archers Chepstow have not been transparent in their dealings with me as a buyer. I think they fail to understand that most agents factor into their valuations a knowledge of and the cost of remedial works required on the purchase of a property and represent these in the asking price, where this company expects the purchaser to discover - or not - critical defects on survey but not allow negotiations for these in an offer price put forward. You can argue they staunchly represent the seller with this stance to the buyers detriment? But without buyers who are treated with transparency and respect (note the sales negotiator) their clients will not sell and buyers pull out as in my case. We will go elsewhere as they’re many ethical transparent agencies and good properties out there.

I received regular updates and advice and were able to answer any questions that I had. The whole team went that extra mile to ensure things went smoothly and I felt completely assured through the process. I would recommend them without hesitation.

8th May 2021 (5 years ago)Beware of using Andrew's to buy/sell! Due to the poor standard of service and lack of communication we were not told of 2 unresolved boundary disputes that affected the sale of a property we had made an offer on. This caused a delay of nearly 7 months before we were forced to withdraw from the purchase due to the behaviour of Andrew's staff and management as well as the sellers attitude as they were constantly told it was not an issue by andrews. Andrew's later admitted to being aware of the boundary disputes when the property had been originally listed. You cannot complete and have the deeds transferred to your name or even get a mortgage on a property with unresolved boundary disputes - Andrew's you should know better! Being repeatedly lied to is not an appropriate form of service! We would not have proceeded to order surveys and searches and instruct solicitors had we known when we made our offer. This entire debacle has cost us nearly £1k in fees. We were offered a mere £250 as compensation for 7 wasted months and £1k of wasted money. We were constantly told it was not an issue and it was repeatedly minimised which dragged the process out. Despite making a complaint to management and escalating through the complaints process to head office we have had no appropriate resolution.

Wainwrights were great and when we found our perfect property they helped everything run so smoothly. A big thank you for all their advice and assistance. Lovely people.
25th May 2026 (13 weeks ago)I would like to express my disappointment with the situation regarding the cancellation of our reference by your agency. After Nicola decided to cancel our reference, I was informed that I wouldn't be eligible for a refund of my deposit. The most frustrating part is that she's now disputing this, claiming that we failed the referencing process, despite initially stating that she was cancelling the reference herself. When I pointed out that if she believed we failed referencing, she should refund my money, she became rude and refused, stating she would never give me my money back.
