Sophie’s been great the whole time — always really helpful, quick to reply, and sorted everything out perfectly whenever needed. Moving out was super easy as well, everything got sorted super quick and easily with her help. Been extremely happy with Metro Residential during my stay and thanks to Sophie for all her help throughout. ??????

Chose Franca thinking she would be good during the final (post offer but pre contract exchange) stage in the process, but it's someone else at Philip James that handles that side of things (who also seems good, but worth bearing in mind)!

16th Apr 2026 (23 days ago)100% Cash Buyer ignored – Complete lack of professionalism Extremely poor experience with the Denton branch, specifically Eleanor Price. As a chain-free, 100% cash buyer with funds exceeding £450k, I expected a basic level of professional service. Instead, the process was a shambles from start to finish. First, I was left waiting at a property because the agent couldn't provide access, followed by a flippant joke from the negotiator about "breaking in through the windows" rather than a professional apology. More importantly, after making a record-breaking cash offer of £235k, I was ghosted for 6 days despite multiple follow-up attempts. My formal written withdrawal was also completely ignored. It is clear this agency used my solid cash offer as a "safety net" or leverage to pressure other buyers while failing to provide me with even basic courtesy or communication. If you are a seller, be warned: this team’s inability to communicate or manage a high-value cash transaction could cost you a secure sale. If you are a buyer, be prepared to be played and ignored. Totally unprofessional. Update: I've made a formal complaint to Edward Mellor Denton and received a pack of lies in response. I've now escalated the matter to The Property Ombudsman (TPO).
7th Feb 2026 (13 weeks ago)We recently had veiwing which were well arranged. We were given a good overview of the property and were allowed to have enough time to see the property without rushing. Shanrawi Qader, the representative from the agency on site, was very professional and helpful and provided us with all needed information.

9th Nov 2025 (5 mo. ago)Our experience with this estate agent, and in particular with Joanne, was extremely disappointing from start to finish. As buyers, we were made to feel like we weren't a priority, when it was clearly implied that her main responsibility was to the seller rather than providing a fair and professional service to both parties. We did everything requested of us promptly and with patience, but even basic communication was difficult, because her tone was often passive-aggressive and condescending, which made the process unnecessarily stressful, and actually really upset me a lot at times! On multiple occasions, we were pressured to complete tasks urgently, even when we were already working as quickly as possible. The final stages of completion were particularly frustrating, as Joanne was completely unreachable on the day - a moment that should have been exciting for us as first-time buyers. Thankfully, our solicitors stepped in to resolve the issue. However, the final straw was Joanne’s audacity in accusing me of being a liar and making inappropriate comments about others in the process. Her complete lack of respect and accountability is concerning and incredibly frustrating! I advise others to be cautious before dealing with this agency.

They also coordinated the offers to ensure it went to best and finals. The communication was always amazing with feedback after every viewing. 24th Mar 2026 (7 weeks ago)Very disappointed with my experience. I was interested in a property they advertised and made several attempts to arrange a viewing. Over the last 2 months I called around 10 times, but every time I was given unclear information. On my last call, I was told the property had already been sold without anyone informing me earlier. In my experience, the staff were not honest and the communication was very unprofessional. I would not recommend this estate agent and suggest others be careful when dealing with them.

Dealt with Liz at Marple office what a star she went the extra mile in everything she did kept in touch as soon as she knew anything what she didn't know she would go that extra mile to find out, couldn't have asked for more. I would recommend Lawlers to anyone. Thanks again Liz

19th Nov 2022 (3 years ago)Everyone at the Estate Agency have been very helpful and informative. They have guided me through the process and have explained each step. They set my expectations at the beginning, which was good. The process has been a smooth one. They fitted in visits around my shifts. I liked the fact that the viewings were done on one day without me being there (great when you live with a toddler) They have always been prompt in replying to any messages. They have made this part as stress free as possible for me.

We had an offer within days of the viewings.<br>Go with an agent who is as committed as you are to sell and will add valuable insight to the process. You won't be disappointed with Paul.

APPLICATION FORM COULDNT BE OPENED.FOUR DAYS LATER WE MANAGED TO FILL IN APPLICATION FORM,BUT TOO LATE LANDLORD HAD ALREADY FILLED THE APARTMENT. WE THEN WERE DIVERTED TO AN APARTMENT AVAILABLE AT KINDERLEE. ON MONDAY WE WERE APPROVED,PAID THE £230 HOLDING FEE,WITH MOVE IN THE FOLLOWING FRIDAY,LUNCHTIME. HAVING HEARD NOTHING BY 2PM ON THE FRIDAY,I RANG JORDAN FISHWICK FOR AN UPDATE? WOOPS THE APARTMENT HAD MOLD IN AT LEAST TWO AREAS.AND ALTHOUGH FURNISHED,WE WERE INFORMED THAT THE TWO BEDS HAD NO MATTRESSES!! FURTHERMORE,WE COULD NO LONGER MOVE IN THAT DAY,BUT WITH LUCK THE FOLLOWING MONDAY,AFTER CLEANING. WE WERE ADVISED TO CHECK IN AGAIN AT THE TRAVELODGE(£70/NiGHT) NOT WANTING THE ADDITIONAL COSTS,WE CANCELLED,AND RENTED SOMEWHERE ELSE. 10 DAYS LATER I STILL AWAIT THE REFUND OF THE £230 HOLDING FEE. 15th Apr 2026 (24 days ago)Absolute scam. Stay away from these crooks. I gave this company full management of my rental property. The tenants paid their rent on time every single month for three months, yet this company has stolen nearly three months of my rent and transferred nothing to me. They have lied repeatedly — first bank holidays, then accounting problems, then sick manager, then claiming their company is being taken over. They are now trying to change their name to escape complaints. Classic scammer tactics. I am now in overdraft and cannot pay my mortgage because these thieves are holding my money hostage. I will be taking legal action immediately and exposing them everywhere. Total fraudsters. Do not trust them with a single penny.
