Looking back, I made the mistake of assuming that using the estate agent selling the property I wanted to buy would make the process easier and quicker. It didn't. What I didn't realise at the time was how much difference the right estate agent can make. That difference was Hannon Holmes. From the very first viewing, Gill and Naomi made me feel comfortable, supported and valued. There was no pressure, no sales tactics, just genuine people who cared about helping both buyers and sellers through what can be one of the most stressful experiences in life. One of the best things they encouraged me to do was meet the seller of my new home. At the time I didn't realise how valuable that would be, but it turned out to be one of the most helpful parts of the entire process. It gave me confidence in the purchase, meant I had someone I could contact if I had any questions about the house, and we've actually become friends. Throughout the purchase, Gill and Naomi kept me informed every step of the way. I never felt like I was chasing updates or being left in the dark. They communicated regularly, explained what was happening, and genuinely cared about making sure everything progressed as smoothly as possible. What stood out most was that they saw people, not transactions. They cared about both the buyer and the seller. They listened, they supported, and they always made me feel like I mattered. Buying and selling a home can be overwhelming. There are moments of uncertainty, frustration and stress. Having people like Gill and Naomi in your corner makes all the difference. They are professional, approachable, honest and committed to getting the best outcome for their clients. If you're looking for an estate agent that will genuinely have your back, I would recommend Hannon Holmes without hesitation. I only wish I had chosen them from the very beginning. 18th Aug 2024 (2 years ago)Very disappointed with our experience with Newton & Co. Poor customer service. Very difficult to get through to people when you really needed to, which created undue stress and frustration. Quite often we had to chase them up to get feedback following viewings.

They sold my first home and I purchased the home I have just sold through them over 10 years ago,<br><br>From my meeting with Karen for the valuation of my home, I have had nothing but praise for the first class service from all her team.<br><br>I was kept fully informed at every step, from viewings through to completion. 28th Sep 2026 (29 days ago)We were the ones communicating with them rather than them keeping us up to date. The first viewing out of only 3 only took 8 minutes which is not long enough. We did let them know. Overall not great at all, hence moved agents.

15th Oct 2026 (12 days ago)Absolutely shocking letting agents!!! I’ve rented a property with another firm for over 10 years and never had no issues ever!! Since I’ve moved into my new rental property with this letting agents, they have been absolutely appalling, very rude, unprofessional and staff have shocking manners and think they are able to treat and talk to you like shit especially David!! Nothing gets done they try and fob you off! They also take no concerns into consideration they just tell you we don’t have to do that!! Like replacing blown windows in the property in a child’s bedroom! I’ve never been so disgusted with a company and how they handle business!! Stay clear everyone from the rental side!!!! I wish I would have stayed with my old letting agents than deal with these people!!

I can honestly say this is the best service I have ever received, with a special mention for Bev, the sales manager, who was superb throughout. Bev kept me updated throughout the sale, along with both sets of solicitors.<br>Don’t bother shopping around—just use these guys, they are brilliant.

A huge thank you to all of you: the service you delivered was by far the best I've experienced, and I've rented through several letting agencies to date.<br><br>A special thank you to Will for his help with the move out process. He even came to the property to help me put up the curtains! And thank you to Roger for always staying on top of repairs and being clear and thorough throughout.<br><br>It was a pleasure to rent with you, and I most certaintly will be doing so again in the future.
