I was particularly impressed with Kristina's swift and precise communication, as well as her knowledge of the development and the property. I have bought and sold properties in Farnham through Hamptons over the last 25 years, and this encounter was up to their usual high standards. Thoroughly recommended.

Rachelle, Stuart and the team were excellent throughout the process, always keeping us fully informed on viewings, feedback at every stage from instruction through to exchange and completion. We would not hesitate to recommend Hamptons.

They are always a phone call or email away to answer any questions and super friendly to deal with. Thanks again to you both.

He bent over backwards to try to accommodate us = having lived all over the world, we are highly difficult to please. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Unfortunately, we were not able to purchase a property from Bournes but have since bought elsewhere, but throughout our experience with the company, we have only recommendations.

16th May 2026 (7 weeks ago)Absolutely appalling service. Catherine, who was supposed to show us around the property we had arranged to see was short and rude from the moment we met her. She refused to answer any questions we had about the property, didn’t seem at all interested in actually displaying the property to us and spoke horribly to us during the brief time we had with her. Avoid this agency at all costs if this is the standard they hold themselves to. He found me a really great tenant so quickly, which took a huge weight off my shoulders, and made the whole process feel seamless from start to finish. What really stood out was how supportive and reassuring he was throughout. Whenever I felt stressed or unsure, Simon was always there to explain things clearly and put me at ease. His communication was excellent and nothing was ever too much trouble. A genuinely brilliant agent, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.
- 2nd Jun 2026 (5 weeks ago)10/10 – I would recommend Bourne in Godalming without hesitation. We initially had our house on the market with another agent who unfortunately wasn’t able to sell it. After switching, the difference was night and day. From the outset, the team (Adrian, Jim, Tilly) were proactive, communicative, and genuinely invested in getting the best outcome for us. They kept us updated throughout, were always available to answer questions, and worked incredibly hard to keep things moving. Selling and buying a house can be stressful, but their professionalism, persistence, and support made a huge difference. We’re delighted with the result and very grateful for all their help. If you’re looking for an estate agent who is responsive, proactive, and goes above and beyond, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Although we were first time buyers and the property took a while to go through due to uncontrollable circumstances, they made us feel at ease, communicated well and were generally great to deal with. Would highly recommend.

They always give us plenty of notice of a viewing and leave the house clean and tidy which one would think is normal but past experience has proved otherwise! (different agents).
