Other estate agents wouldn’t even give her the time of day but they made her feel valued and respected and in the end she got what she wanted. Couldn’t recommend Bryan Maher more! 20th Aug 2026 (10 weeks ago)Very disappointing and unprofessional experience with Daniels.<br><br>The flat was advertised as a “new home,” but in reality it was not new, which was misleading from the outset.<br><br>The agent, Joseph, arranged a viewing for 5:30 PM. We had to leave work early to make the appointment, but despite knowing this, he was rushing us through the viewing because he had another appointment afterwards. We were barely given enough time to properly inspect the property. This was particularly frustrating because we had been told that 5:30 PM was the last viewing time.<br><br>We had also clearly informed Joseph from the beginning that we needed to give our current landlord two months’ notice. Despite this, after we submitted an offer, we were told that the landlord could not wait two months. This should have been communicated to us before encouraging us to proceed with the application and offer, especially since our notice period had already been clearly explained.<br><br>Overall, the communication was poor, the viewing was rushed, and the handling of our situation was extremely unprofessional. We wasted our time and had to rearrange our work commitments for a viewing that we were barely given the opportunity to properly attend.<br><br>Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend Daniels based on the way this was handled.

They were professional, very helpful, and made the whole process of renting a flat smooth and straightforward. 11th Oct 2026 (16 days ago)I would strongly recommend thinking carefully before choosing Hilton & Fox at wembley alperton as your letting agent. Unfortunately, my experience with them over several years was very disappointing.<br><br>To be fair, there are a few members of staff who are helpful and professional. However, my overall experience with the few of the staff was poor. I often received rude or dismissive responses, and I frequently had to contact them two or three times before getting a reply. Even after receiving a response, I was often left feeling that my concerns had not been properly understood or addressed.<br><br>What concerned me most was the way repairs, safety, and security issues were handled. Problems could take a very long time to be resolved, and sometimes I felt that there was little urgency or follow-up. As a tenant, I understand that expensive repairs may not always be completed immediately, but tenants deserve clear communication, regular updates, and reassurance that their safety and living conditions are being taken seriously.<br><br>I was particularly disappointed by comments such as, “If it were your own house, would you fix an expensive problem in one day, or would you try to find a cheaper price and wait?” I found this attitude very frustrating. The issue isn't necessarily about expecting everything to be fixed immediately; it is about how tenants are treated and communicated with while waiting for a solution.<br><br>I don't want to name individual staff members because I don't want anyone to lose their job. However, I genuinely believe the company needs to provide better training and make it clear that tenants should always be treated with respect, patience, and professionalism. Whatever pressures staff may be dealing with, those should never result in tenants receiving rude or dismissive treatment.<br><br>Looking back, I wish I had made a formal complaint much earlier. My advice to anyone considering renting through Hilton & Fox is simple: pay close attention to how they communicate with you from the beginning. If you receive a rude, dismissive, or unsatisfactory response, don't just accept it—raise a complaint and ask for the matter to be properly addressed.<br>Unfortunately, I continued to experience the same problems throughout my tenancy, right up until the end.<br>Overall, I am very disappointed with my experience. Tenants deserve to feel that their concerns, safety, and security matter. Based on my personal experience, this is an area where Hilton & Fox needs significant improvement.

13th May 2020 (6 years ago)I really wanted to like the agency. However, having just dealt with some other estate agents I can honestly say that Phillips and CO are very old fashioned and the worst at communication. Let me explain more. TLDR; our purchase fell through after months of discussions. We were initially told by the agent that there is no chain, after weeks of chasing they eventually confirmed that there is a chain - all that needed to happen was a phone call the vendors and some shouting at them. Anyway, We put this hurdle behind us and agreed to wait as the vendor had already found a house. It has been 2-3 months of constant chasing for updates which normally goes like this: 1. I send an email asking for an update 2. A week goes by with no response 3. I call them to find out what is going on 4. They give me an excuse that the vendors aren’t responsive but they are chasing as much as possible 5. They tell me they will call me back once they have spoken with the vendor 6. Another few days...still nothing 7. I call them, raise my tone and again get some stupid response. I fully appreciate that the vendors aren helpful. The issue I have with this estate agent is that they have poor communication skills, no idea on how to manage customer expectations. I have never had to chase an estate agent so much, it’s normally other way around - they chase and you hide! Avoid if possible guys!

So many agents were arrogant or didn’t bother to find the time to help me, or even spend 10 mins to discuss my offers and concerns with certain properties . Mike was patient, helpful and understood what is takes to have a fine balance between the sellers agent and a space for the buyer to get some help when buying a place. Thanks again. I have already recommended you and Lak to my son in law, who are looking to buy their first home.

We always felt that they had a good grasp of the local market and were a good conduit between ourselves and the tenant. Clear and good communication & went above and beyond for over 9 years, before we sold. I rarely leave reviews, but given that the experience was so good, it felt wrong not to. Tiffany was also a delight and Lak would often do his best to get things printed off for us when we needed copies of our documents.
