30th Oct 2024 (1 year ago)Very disappointing experience with MAS Property. Just three days before my move-in date, they increased the apartment price without any flexibility or consideration for the prior agreement and contract, including agreed key handover day. This last-minute change was unprofessional and stressful. I do not recommend MAS Property.
17th Dec 2025 (14 weeks ago)I have been very impressed with Marino and Sandra at Varosi Lettings on Tollington Park. They are extremely helpful and professional also always available to answer a call or in person questions and help the best that they can. We have established a great relationship with them where I have total trust in their advice and help. It has really been an easy ride having Varosi as my letting agents. Thanks Freddie

7th Jan 2025 (1 year ago)Assume they are out of business. Nobody answers the phone, all numbers transfer to a mailbox which is full so cannot leave a message. Properties for rent are still live on RightMove. Probably best to avoid!!!
17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

13th May 2020 (5 years ago)I really wanted to like the agency. However, having just dealt with some other estate agents I can honestly say that Phillips and CO are very old fashioned and the worst at communication. Let me explain more. TLDR; our purchase fell through after months of discussions. We were initially told by the agent that there is no chain, after weeks of chasing they eventually confirmed that there is a chain - all that needed to happen was a phone call the vendors and some shouting at them. Anyway, We put this hurdle behind us and agreed to wait as the vendor had already found a house. It has been 2-3 months of constant chasing for updates which normally goes like this: 1. I send an email asking for an update 2. A week goes by with no response 3. I call them to find out what is going on 4. They give me an excuse that the vendors aren’t responsive but they are chasing as much as possible 5. They tell me they will call me back once they have spoken with the vendor 6. Another few days...still nothing 7. I call them, raise my tone and again get some stupid response. I fully appreciate that the vendors aren helpful. The issue I have with this estate agent is that they have poor communication skills, no idea on how to manage customer expectations. I have never had to chase an estate agent so much, it’s normally other way around - they chase and you hide! Avoid if possible guys!

19th Jun 2024 (1 year ago)AVOID THIS AGENCY!!!!Barbara was acting as our letting agent, the property was handed back to us in a terrible state, furniture, walls and floors all damaged. We have had to fit a new bathroom, new flooring, buy new furniture and repaint the entire flat. During the course of the tenancy she didn’t allow us to visit the flat always making excuses as to why her sub tenants don’t want us there. She has refused to answer any of my calls and emails. She sent one email to say the company you had an agreement with as the ‘tenant ‘ has ceased operating and that was all. Do not hand your property to her if you are a Landlord as all she cares about is offering you a low guarantee rent and then placing anyone in the flat so she is in profit.- 15th Nov 2021 (4 years ago)Tom Ward was always there to help us and kept us in the loop at all times. He was understanding when hurdles cropped up and always showed patience and compassion to my elderly mother. A great agent in all respects but in this case with assisted living properties.

Simon’s professionalism and knowledge is second to none but more than that, he connects with his clients - in our case two naive and nervous ones, in spite of our years and gives support every step of the way. We wholeheartedly recommend him.

12th Sep 2021 (4 years ago)I would like to Thank Salman Gillani for his help in introducing me to rent guarantee scheme. I have many properties where i was having problems with tenants, receiving rent and many other issues. But Heaven Estate agents helped me a lot and has made the whole renting out properties a stress free process. The team is great at communicating with any issues or any problems that may need fixing within the properties. Would recommend if you would like a stress free experience.
5th Oct 2022 (3 years ago)We had a really bad experience with this estate agent, so beware. We had an offer accepted on a property, Jerome did the usual of taking our ID, proof of deposit, agreement in principle etc and confirmed acceptance. Three weeks later our solicitor raised our attention to the fact that the sellers solicitor had yet to issue draft contracts. After another week I finally got hold of Jerome who confirmed that the seller wouldn't issue the draft contract until we had a confirmed mortgage offer on the property. I told Jerome that wasn't the normal sequence we were familiar with, but he assured me that was how sales progressed in his experience. We went back to our solicitor who advised us that they would indeed normally wait for draft contracts to be issued before proceeding with searches and surveys etc. So we gave the sellers solicitor a deadline before we would reconsider the offer. On the day of the deadline the seller issued a race contract and advised us that there was another interested party who's offer had also been accepted and the seller would exchange with the party which secured a mortgage offer first. I don't know whether Jerome was aware that the seller had accepted multiple offers when we had our conversation, but my instinct at the time told me he wasn't being open and honest about the sellers intentions. So beware of this agent in case they try this with you.
3rd Oct 2024 (1 year ago)Recently sold a property in Guildford; It was a long and tortuous process complicated by the fact that I am living overseas and was very poorly advised as to finding a settlement agent. A first real estate agent made unrealistic market assertions regarding the market then followed up by passing the work to office juniors. Eventually I re-marketed through Kings and was fortunate to have Bipen working on my property. Bipen personally conducted viewings and found a buyer in reasonable time, then worked to achieve a mutually acceptable outcome; Unfortunately, this was only the start- dealing through disinterested settlement lawyers on both sides of the deal was so tedious that I came close to abandoning the sale; Somehow, and mainly through Bipen’s perseverance and patience, the deal was eventually settled and both myself and the buyer can move on. Many thanks to Bipen for sticking with this one- his diligence was literally the only thing between a sale and returning to the rental market! Great outcome all round- Many thanks!
