19th Mar 2026 (16 weeks ago)Jeremy McGinn & Co have been my estate agent for the sale of my property over the past few months, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The entire process, from October to March, was impressively quick and smooth. One of the standout qualities was their in-depth knowledge of the market. As soon as I considered selling, they provided a comprehensive report covering current market conditions, insights on my street, and buyer demand. This gave me great confidence from the outset. They were never pushy, but always responsive and proactive in keeping me informed. I particularly appreciated their honesty—both about the state of the market and realistic expectations for the sale price. The marketing was excellent. The photos of my property looked fantastic, and they even arranged the Energy Performance Certificate on the same day, which minimised disruption—especially important as I work from home. They also recommended and coordinated with a solicitor who was equally reliable and efficient. Together, they worked seamlessly, and communication throughout the process was consistently clear and timely. Although no major issues arose, I have no doubt they would have handled any challenges quickly and professionally. If you’re looking for a trustworthy and knowledgeable estate agent, I would highly recommend Jeremy McGinn & Co. If I ever move again, they will be my first call! So, a massive thank you to the whole team for all their effort at the Alcester office. I appreciate everything you have done for me and my family.

8th May 2024 (2 years ago)Agent turned up one and a half hours late for property inspection, no phone call to inform me. When I called their office a women said she has asked the women coming to visit to call me but she didn't bother. When I challenged her she said she had not been asked to call me to say she was going to be late only when she has finished her inspection (who's telling the truth) RED FLAG. She also whined on about being in a meeting and that she had only been working there for a week or so NOT MY PROBLEM not interested in time wasters. I needed to contact my landlord to inform him of the poor service he is paying for and in then contacted PP. A long story short when the evidence was put to Simon Bacon the manager he had no choice but to apologise to my landlord but no apology to me for wasting my time. Always going to apologise to the landlord because he's paying him. VERY POOR appears there is no proper in house or external communication. Glad I'm only going to here for a short period of time.

Everyone we had contact with was friendly and professional and they always kept in contact regularly. They were recommended to me by a happy customer and they didn't disappoint. I will highly recommend them to anyone contemplating selling a house.
21st Jun 2026 (15 days ago)Rented a mould infested property with EPC rating E and it was so cold and energy consuming yet they increased the rent not minding what we were going through. When we complained, they took zero responsibility and Emma blamed our breathing for the mould. We moved out and they requested part of our deposit(still contesting that with DPS) even when we caused zero damage to the property. They are simply unsympathetic and all they care about is money. I genuinely feel for whoever will rent the property I left because they usually use paint to cover the mould and you won’t notice till you start living in the house. Please check the EPC rating of their property you want to rent and completely AVOID D AND E!<br><br>EDIT: DPS gave them nothing and returned all my deposit to me. After investigation, they saw it was pure fraudulent exploitation to ask for part of my deposit for black spots in a mould house I didn’t cause.
13th Apr 2026 (12 weeks ago)I feel compelled to share my experience with Property Link, located at 448 Bordesley Green, B9 5NS, to warn others before considering their services. From the outset, the company demonstrates a lack of transparency and professionalism. Prospective clients are not given adequate time or support to properly review agreements before being pressured into signing contracts. Even more concerning, the fees charged prior to signing are excessively high and feel completely unjustified. Unfortunately, the situation does not improve once tenants move into the property. Any maintenance or repair issues are handled extremely poorly. Requests for repairs are either significantly delayed or outright ignored, leaving tenants in unacceptable living conditions. Communication is particularly frustrating, as calls and messages are frequently disregarded. The conduct of staff members is equally disappointing. Employees often come across as unapproachable, dismissive, and at times disrespectful. This creates an environment where tenants feel unsupported and undervalued. Overall, this company shows a clear lack of accountability, professionalism, and customer care. I would strongly advise others to proceed with caution and consider alternative property management services. Not trustworthy and not recommended.

Karen jo and the 2 ladies could not have been more helpful friendly and professional. If you are a landlord or tenant I highly recommend you use 1st lettings for absolute peace of mind.

Paul Petticrew took the time to, publish professional photos and videos of our house and handled all viewings and provided regular feedback. Superb!!
