11th Jun 2026 (11 weeks ago)Absolutely appalling experience with Tom Giles & Co regarding my viewing at 50 Bristnall Hall Road, Oldbury.<br><br>We agreed a specific appointment time in advance, but a staff member later called to change it completely. Worse still, she mistakenly shared another person’s personal details with me a serious breach of data protection and confidentiality.<br><br>She was incredibly rude, dismissive, and had no basic manners. When I tried to discuss all these mistakes, she hung up on me mid-conversation.<br><br>Chaotic, unprofessional, and deeply disrespectful. They cannot manage appointments or protect personal information. I will never use them again and strongly advise everyone to stay well away.
12th Mar 2026 (24 weeks ago)Savills were the letting agent for my property for about 6yrs after being bought by Area Estates. Savills do bare minimum with regards to repairs and maintenance. Camilla Kirby who recently left the company was lovely and made every effort to assist with the limited authority she had, sadly she was replaced by Rachel Bentley who is condescending, rude and quite frankly should not deal with the public in any capacity. Following a S21 notice due to selling before the new landlord rules come into affect in May, they attempted to charge £760 for removal of a fish tank from the loft of property despite it being in the property from the beginning of the tenancy and having no proof it wasn’t. She lied in a reference and stated that it couldn’t be changed as the director had approved it, and when I pressed her saying the reference was factually incorrect she stated “the DWP may be able to assist you with something in writing about your benefits”.

9th Feb 2022 (4 years ago)I would highly recommend Balfours, Allister and his team worked extremely hard to sell my mothers property recently keeping as well I formed and giving good advice throughout. Would definitely use this estate agency again!
31st Jul 2026 (24 days ago)I’ve never had to deal with estate agents before so I was nervous about the whole thing however Fodens were excellent and sold my property within 5/6 months!!<br>I would 100% recommend Fodens if you want a more friendly experience<br>I dealt with a lady called Jenny, she was more more than an agent, she was a friend during a dark time for me. I will never forget the kindness and support she gave me<br>Thanks Jenny ??????
13th Apr 2026 (19 weeks ago)I feel compelled to share my experience with Property Link, located at 448 Bordesley Green, B9 5NS, to warn others before considering their services. From the outset, the company demonstrates a lack of transparency and professionalism. Prospective clients are not given adequate time or support to properly review agreements before being pressured into signing contracts. Even more concerning, the fees charged prior to signing are excessively high and feel completely unjustified. Unfortunately, the situation does not improve once tenants move into the property. Any maintenance or repair issues are handled extremely poorly. Requests for repairs are either significantly delayed or outright ignored, leaving tenants in unacceptable living conditions. Communication is particularly frustrating, as calls and messages are frequently disregarded. The conduct of staff members is equally disappointing. Employees often come across as unapproachable, dismissive, and at times disrespectful. This creates an environment where tenants feel unsupported and undervalued. Overall, this company shows a clear lack of accountability, professionalism, and customer care. I would strongly advise others to proceed with caution and consider alternative property management services. Not trustworthy and not recommended.

Unusual circumstances and difficult market was neatly handled and top client base secured a sale for me. In regards to the service that was provided, personal, professional and supportive throughout. I was never once in the dark and Clare helped make sure that everything went smoothly as possible. 100% would recommend and 100% trust.

19th Dec 2024 (1 year ago)Sarah Garland was the agent and from the very start I had confidence in her. Nothing was too much trouble. I was selling the house on my own and she was very helpful and kind throughout something you don't always find with an Estate Agent.
4th Aug 2026 (20 days ago)Arrived to a broken bed which would not be replaced. Had to pay for it myself. Agents were incredibly rude.
