21st Aug 2024 (2 years ago)The house we are selling was bought through Whitegates Cleckheaton and had found them very helpful , so when we put it up for sale we went back to the them. After 10 months and a variety of "problems" [being asked to conduct viewing ourselves, not getting constructive feedback etc] we reluctantly cancelled with them .

18th Jul 2025 (1 year ago)Charge customer for a expensive cleaning service, when ever the room got broken toile cover and unclean floor from the beginning.Even the wall are dirty with broken mirror on the wall. They don't even want to repair the house ?just continue checking and annoying. Respond: The kitchen floor and ceiling are always flooded with water, but they do nothing for the leaking. I need to clean the floor for many times. They should pay for my cleaning service aswell. No matter how clean when I clean up the room, they always told the tenant it's not clean enough and charge for a expensive cleaning service. They just want to get your money from the deposit. Don't trust them !
2nd Sep 2025 (11 mo. ago)I do feel that they need to have social media platforms to promote properties like most agents do. Also there is no shop to go in or for them to advertise the brochure etc. there way of working g may work for some for houses that will sell quickly but not for me.

Although neither my brother nor myself are local, I could tell Mark was a man of integrity on our first meeting and knew Watsons would help us achieve the best price possible. 11th Jan 2026 (7 mo. ago)BE CAREFUL IF YOU OR YOUR NEIGHBOUR USES PAISLEY PROPERTIES - They posted a photo of our vehicle with the registration clearly visible, it appeared on the listing for a neighbouring property. It was published on their website and social media. Our vehicle was parked on our private property, not visible from the roadside and accessed via a privately owned driveway. The photo featured along with our complete address details. We had to ask several times for it to be removed, we complained in writing and their response was that they would not communicate with us about this issue.No acknowledgment of their error, no explanation as to how it had occurred and no apology. Absolutely disgusting and unprofessional and this was the business owner.

I have also been informed they have difficulty retaining staff!!!!! Previously had first class service.
5th Aug 2026 (19 days ago)I rented a property with these quite a few years ago, it was absolutely riddled in mice like a massive infestation. At the time I was really young around 19 years old. I had 2 young children with me, one of my daughters was still crawling. I would have to clean daily so she didn’t come across any mice droppings. The kitchen was completely rotten like actually falling apart under the sink, the oven cooker was so filthy I had to clean it for 2 days before I cooked any meals, I painted the kitchen cupboard front that were all rotten and got my bond taken off me for what they said would be to replace the whole kitchen I had apparently ruined! Ha! Should’ve been replaced before I moved in it was that bad. The carpets where the radiator pipes were had been chewed from mice, I left to stay with my mum a few days as I was depressed living there and as I returned their was droppings in my actual bed. Absolutely disgusting service and I’m 28 now and have avoided ever renting anymore properties from them. Taken full advantage of a young single mum and her 2 young children, would they live in a place like that? Then have their bond taken after being left to live in an infested pit?! I don’t think so. I would avoid like the plague. Not to mention the bond they kept was never used for the kitchen and the place was rented out exactly how I left it to the next people, I actually visited them to give them the heads up and they were already planning on moving out. Funny that isn’t it. Horrible people, horrible landlord, corrupt selfish and heartless agency.

Received an appointment to view a flat very quickly and had confirmation that we were successful in securing the flat the next morning. Very efficient, excellent service, extremely friendly and helpful!
11th Aug 2026 (13 days ago)We purchased a house last year as first time buyers with Lauren as the agent and the process itself was very disappointing and unorganised throughout. Details of the chain were not made clear, an hour before we were to collect the keys (after self employed family members took the day off) there were attempts to delay further and it’s fair to say Lauren’s best interest was with her seller over anyone else - When my partner expressed her dissatisfaction with constantly being messed around Lauren was extremely unprofessional and began a shouting match down the phone. I understand buying and selling houses can be stressful but it should be special buying your first property and we were left feeling deflated and disappointed when we finally moved in. We weren’t even congratulated post completion which says all you need to know. Won’t use this company again if possible.
