13th Jun 2026 (23 days ago)Terrible agent, shown up for how poor they were by the quality of every other agent in our purchase chain. Our vendor, who was using their services, views them as dreadful, our own agent who had to deal with them complained of exactly the same slow and unhelpful service that we had. On completion, initially didn't even know it had happened, completely hopeless, miserable experience and didnt even have keys to hand over, with no attempt to resolve matters. The vendor was an elderly client and got entirely insufficient support from them. If it were not for our proactive solicitors arranging for keys direct from the vendor, no doubt we would still be waiting to move in. 0 Stars isn't an option, so 1 star it is.

Their support and guidance were second to none, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. 17th Jun 2026 (19 days ago)Excellent experience using Crown to sell a house. From start to finish they were extremely professional and ensured great communication throughout the sale. Valuation was totally in line with our expectations, and the advice on setting a sale price was valuable. Visits started within a week of the valuation and we accepted an offer within two weeks of that. Crown handled coordination with the buyer and solicitors and ensured everything moved along smoothly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

They were proactive in communication, always replying quickly to my calls and emails. What could have been a stressful experience turned into exciting and smooth process.
8th Dec 2024 (1 year ago)We had a mixed experience with Preston Baker. We chose them for their reviews online and at first contact with the Doncaster office they were quick to reply and tried moving our sale along promptly. Then our agent suddenly stopped communicating and when we tried contacting them we found out she had left but no one informed us. This happened a couple of times. Our house was eventually assigned to Terry Burrows (Leeds office) and she was good to us. She took care of our sale for almost a year until the end, even after two potential buyers dropped off and issues with the house made our sale more complicated. Sadly by then the market had changed and we weren’t able to sell for the value we had hoped for. Not sure if I would recommend the Doncaster office. I would recommend Terry for sure. (Terry, if you are reading this thank you for persevering with us and for helping us get a decent price in a difficult selling process)

However, our decision to ask Martin & Co to market the house for us proved an excellent decision. When we met Paul, who provided the valuation & subsequent photographs / brochure, we knew we were in safe hands. His professionalism & knowledge is first class. Sue then took over the mantle & those safe hands absolutely continued. From handling the viewings on our behalf & providing feedback; responding to our questions quickly & efficiently; handling all negotiations until a sale was agreed & then keeping us regularly updated until the sale was complete, we really could not have asked for a better service. I would highly recommend Martin & Co

Always on hand with a listening ear and Max was just the best support as was Andy. I would recommend Hunters Castleford for a rental to anyone as they are great with the personal touches, I always felt listened to and when I needed them they were always there. Thank you to all the fabulous team keep doing you are the best x
