It has been an emotional process with many ups and downs, and both my husband and I are truly grateful to Joeanne and Kerry for staying alongside us throughout. Their patience, understanding, and steady support meant a great deal during what was sometimes a stressful and uncertain time. Joeanne, in particular, was incredibly kind, reassuring, and encouraging when we needed it most. We deeply appreciate their professionalism, persistence, and genuine care in helping us reach this important milestone. 4th Sep 2025 (11 mo. ago)From Valuation onwards through marketing and liaison with the Sales team, the performance of the agent was exceptional. The customer service was efficient warm and friendly with attention to detail and the personal touch made it a delight using them, I got a great service and they travelled to Hunmanby from Scarborough to do the valuations, they were always there early so as not to keep the viewers waiting, whereas in my experience with some other local agents this is not a consideration. During the stressful conveyancing process with Solicitors between Exchange and Completion Tracey and her colleagues gave a massive amount of support and as I have moved numerous times over the years, I can tell you Colin Ellis are the best in North Yorkshire, also their fees too are highly competitive which helps tremendously especially when moving home. You won't be disappointed go with the best believe me my review can be verified and trusted. Many thanks Colin Ellis from Jane Hall, recently sold bungalow in Hunmanby near Filey Last week

I was helped by Paul Jennings, who was knowledgeable, professional and gave me all the information I needed to make an informed decision. He explained the process for both options which made it easier for me to make my decision.<br><br>I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to rent or sell their property and wouldn't hesitate to use their services again in the future. 21st May 2025 (1 year ago)We have used Kelham Square for several years now to handle our rental portfolio, we have always found them very good and efficient. We did therefore instruct them to handle the recent sale of one of our properties. Again, there were no major problems, and the sale went through smoothly and efficiently. Stacy was especially good, chasing solicitors and keeping us always informed as to where things were. We would not hesitatate to use them again.

I paid a £150 holding deposit after being told the landlord had approved my application and that I would proceed as the tenant.<br><br>Only a few hours later, I was informed that the application had been rejected and the refund would be issued. The refund was not processed on time, forcing me to chase it daily with no proper communication or urgency. It was only returned after a full week of constant follow-ups.<br><br>Although the money was eventually refunded, the way this was handled was unacceptable, stressful, and shows a clear lack of professionalism and respect for tenants’ time and money. I would not use this agency again and strongly advise others to be cautious.
