26th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)On behalf of my son Richard…..I was new to buying a property and Hope at Stephensons was the Estate Agent for the sellers. My own online solicitor and the vendors solicitor were quite slow to the point my mortgage offer was only valid for 6 months (took 5 months 2 weeks to completion). To be honest without Hopes additional work over and above working tirelessly with both sets of solicitors I think I would have lost the house purchase. Hope was so helpful and patience with me when I was getting no updates from my own solicitor. Hope went above and beyond her own job description. Thankyou Hope, I am forever grateful to you for getting this over the finish line. Brilliant work.
2nd Jun 2026 (5 weeks ago)“As a ‘snail without a shell’ (meaning someone who does not own their own property), whenever my tenancy agreement comes to an end and I have to face rent increases from landlords or an unsatisfactory living environment, I need to look for another place to live. What I hope for most is to find a suitable new home as soon as possible, and a professional, reliable, and efficient estate agency is truly indispensable. I am a UK visa holder, and my visa expired at the beginning of May. Although I had already submitted my application for permanent residency in early April, I had still not received the approval result while searching for a new home. As a result, many landlords were unwilling to rent their properties to someone in my situation, and most estate agents tended to avoid difficult cases and were not very willing to help me. However, I was extremely fortunate to meet Mr. Sharma from Ritz Properties. During the last weekend of April, he arranged for me to view a rental property. After understanding my immigration status and permanent residency application situation, he remained very positive and proactive. He immediately arranged for a referencing company to carry out the preliminary rental procedures for me. Whenever I encountered any problems during the process, he responded very quickly to my emails and WhatsApp messages. With his assistance, I successfully signed the tenancy agreement and received the property keys in mid-May. Before moving in, there were several minor issues with the property’s facilities and appliances that required immediate attention. Every time I contacted Mr. Sharma, he handled each problem with a positive and professional attitude. Having lived in the UK for five years, Ritz Properties is the best estate agency I have ever dealt with. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for rental properties.”

It can be such a stressful time but for us we were kept informed throughout the process and nothing was too much trouble. Emma and the team were always there at the end of the phone to answer any questions or update us with any news. Thank you all

Although neither my brother nor myself are local, I could tell Mark was a man of integrity on our first meeting and knew Watsons would help us achieve the best price possible. 1st Aug 2025 (11 mo. ago)Was on the market for 3 months without hearing a word from the office, nothing at all until we contacted them. Was apologised to at the point and was told would get regular updates every 4 weeks as a minimum. Another 6 weeks went by with no communication whatsoever until chasing them again. The entire process was handled professionally and efficiently, but the person who truly made the sale seamless was Phoebe. She was outstanding throughout — proactive, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive at every stage. Not only did they achieve £10,000 above the original valuation, but Phoebe dealt brilliantly with the issues caused by the buyer’s solicitor, keeping everything on track and taking a huge amount of stress off me. Communication was clear, timely, and reassuring, and I always felt confident that my sale was in the best possible hands. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome and would highly recommend both Phoebe and the team to anyone looking to sell their home.

29th Jan 2026 (23 weeks ago)After reading through some of the reviews it's mind boggling how some people receive an excellent service and some don't. Unfortunately our experience is hugely disappointing. We still receive emails about viewings for a property we don't live in and are still waiting for a sizeable deposit back from a rental. The utter lack of communication in the office is astonishing. How they have received excellent reviews is beyond understanding.

24th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)Had an absolutely awful time attempting to get a flat with these agents. We had to constantly call and ask them to actually do the job they said they were going to. Only to then find out they'd given another applicant the property without even telling us because they had "better references". The issue being they never completed our references or actually looked at our documents?? No reason given by the agents of why they never completed our references, they honestly sounded like they couldn't be bothered. Wasted a week of our time when we need to be moving soon, will never be looking at a property through this estate agents ever again.

The property condition was average during the tenancy, but there was a significant disagreement regarding the state of the property upon move-out. The agent proposed deductions that I considered beyond reasonable grounds. As we could not reach an agreement, the case had to be escalated to the Deposit Protection Scheme (DPS), and I was only able to recover a portion of the deposit. I was disappointed with how the agent handled the move-out process. I am sharing my experience as a reminder to future tenants to thoroughly document the property's condition at both move-in and move-out to protect your own interests.<br><br>???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
