24th Jun 2021 (5 years ago)Never really felt like my property was a priority to Myrings, didn't get a lot of viewings, the ones I did I had to do them, was told I had priced it too high......they set the price!
6th Jun 2026 (29 days ago)I would rate 2Roost Estate Agents as average overall — you get what you pay for. They initially valued my property around £25,000 higher than what it eventually sold for, which I found disappointing and unrealistic. The staff were friendly throughout the process and the photographs they took of the property were very good. However, I felt the overall service lacked experience and professionalism at times. On one occasion, my front door was left open overnight due to carelessness, which was completely unacceptable. I also felt there was little flexibility with viewings outside of standard hours, as evening appointments after 5pm were not really accommodated or proactively discussed with me. In addition, some of the offers put forward to me felt unrealistic and far below expectations. While the service was not terrible, it was fairly mediocre overall. Looking back, I probably would have chosen a more established estate agent, even if it meant paying slightly higher fees. Ultimately, you pay peanuts, you get monkeys — lesson learned on my part.

Never experienced selling in UK so needed the helping hand which was always there. Now I’m in my new home and it’s the “right” place for me. 19th Jun 2026 (16 days ago)I am disabled and my mother is elderly. Recently we had to face the fact we needed to move to more suitable accommodation. Our main contact with Manning Stainton was with Lisa. Neither my mother nor I drive but Lisa was kind enough to always come to our house to discuss the progress of our move. In addition, she was always on hand to help us complete all the necessary forms, giving us great peace of mind. Although the move was pretty stressful at times, Lisa and the other members of the team were always positive and encouraging. I cannot recommend this estate agent highly enough.
2nd Jul 2026 (3 days ago)Poor service and extortionate fee for an admin check over 4 times the amount my solicitor charged for the same service.<br>When they sent their bill to my solicitor on completion it was over £1,000 higher than we had agreed!<br>They did eventually sell the house after a buyer dropped out because he couldn't get a mortgage even though Bridgfords had checked him out and said he had a mortgage.<br>Use another Agent!- 3rd Jul 2026 (2 days ago)31st March Offered on a bungalow for mum to live in, completed on 21st May, her house valued on 20th May by William h brown Dewsbury, sold on 22nd and completes tomorrow 3rd July, it was clearly meant to be as everything could not have come together more smoothly. Used all WHB services for the sale and its completion.

They've now successfully sold two of my houses, and both experiences have been excellent from start to finish.<br><br>The communication has always been fantastic, keeping me updated every step of the way, and nothing has ever been too much trouble. Kelly and the team are friendly, professional, knowledgeable and genuinely care about getting the best outcome for their clients.<br><br>Selling a house can be stressful, but they made the whole process as smooth and straightforward as possible. 7th Sep 2024 (1 year ago)Our first contact with Linley & Simpson to let a property was with Hollie Landi. She was totally on our case from day 1 & kept us informed of each and every development! Lucy carried out the property inspection…excellent! Hollie did all the viewings and kept us informed regularly of any interest in renting! Some references took a while to come through, but hey that’s the way it goes, not the fault of Hollie or Linley & Simpson!

We encountered repeated issues with attention to detail, including property photographs requiring multiple rounds of correction due to obvious editing errors and eventually having to re-photograph the property. On more than one occasion, viewings were not properly prepared, curtains were left closed in a bedroom and there was confusion over access despite key locations having been provided, . We were also made aware that a viewer was left waiting outside because the agent arrived late to the appointment. While the manager responded professionally and apologised when concerns were raised, the overall experience left us feeling that greater organisation, communication and attention to detail were needed.

30th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)I would not use DPSH again. During my purchase transaction, I found the conduct of senior staff disappointing and unnecessarily confrontational. I was described as "shady" and "dodgy" and told that I "didn't understand the market" despite being fully engaged throughout the process, responding promptly to requests, spending over £2,000 on surveys and associated costs, and progressing my mortgage application through to offer stage. When my original buyer withdrew, I immediately explored alternative options and made it clear that I was in a position to proceed without relying on the sale of my own property. Despite this, I was subjected to pressure, arbitrary deadlines, and repeated suggestions that the property would be remarketed. I am fortunate enough to work within the property and financial services industry and was able to challenge this behaviour confidently. My concern is that many buyers would simply accept this sort of treatment and feel pressured into making decisions they would not otherwise make. The most disappointing part is that after all of this, the transaction ultimately broke down when another offer was accepted, despite my position having been clearly explained. This left me having incurred significant costs and invested considerable time into a purchase that I was willing and able to progress. What was most surprising was that many of these comments came from the director of the company rather than a junior member of staff. Property transactions are stressful enough without buyers having their integrity questioned or being subjected to unnecessary pressure. Throughout the entire process, Annie was consistently responsive, highly organized, efficient and thoroughly professional.
