I have used Andrews for Sales and Letting and have found them to be the best there is. First I had only one property manged by them but now they manage both my properties. Lorna, Tara and Monica are all amazing but my special thanks and appreciation goes out to Lorna who always goes out of her way to help and arrange things for me which help with the smooth transition of tenants. Posted this review years ago (approximately 8 years!!!) but I literally just noticed that it was not published (I think due to a link I placed in the review). I have now deleted this link and reposted as this was my genuine experience at the time. Hopefully things are better there now.<br><br>I am so relieved to find these reviews. It's just a shame I didn't find them before I signed up with Andrews. The previous review by Charlie Holloway is absolutely spot on!<br><br>On the one hand it is a relief to discover that I am not alone in the God awful treatment that I have received from Andrews; even down to the specific staff mentioned - Avneet (totally incompetent) and Tara (uninterested, dismissive and negligent) and their failings. On the other hand, it is exceptionally disappointing that many members of the public are having to endure this level of poor service, whilst Andrews continue with impunity.<br><br>They have lied to me, misquoted the law and generally been very arrogant when challenged about their indisputable errors and failings. In addition, the constant primary school standard spelling and grammatical mistakes lead me to question the standard Andrews requires of it's staff.<br><br>Like Charlie Holloway (and I suspect many others) it truly has been one of the most stressful years of my life too!<br><br>I echo everything that Charlie Holloway stated (below), and sadly one year after his review nothing has changed, apart from the departure of Anne who (despite numerous complaints about her) only retired last year. Interestingly, when I first approached Andrews 3 years ago to make enquiries, I spoke to Anne on the phone. I too found her to be incredibly condescending and as a result did not go back to Andrews until last year when Tara answered the phone. Once again, I am shocked to recently discover that MANY others unfortunately had a similar experience with Anne.<br><br>I also strongly believe that the landlords are not being made aware of issues and / or are being provided with inaccurate and delayed information, thereby causing misunderstandings between landlord and tenant, neither of whom is in the position to actually know what and when things are being said or done (or not).<br><br>I initially thought I was alone, because some reviews make them sound amazing! However I now understand that the problem is with their management services. They will initially lay on plenty of charm and feign professionalism (Tara & Jack) in order to sign you, then if you are in the unfortunate position of renting a property that they are responsible for managing, will leave you in the incapable hands of Avneet. This is where the horror story begins.<br><br>When people are silent on these issues, incompetent staff and the company management who turn a blind eye, continue to deceive, disappoint and put unsuspecting members of the public out of pocket. It is not right!<br><br>I recently commenced the official complaint process and will revisit this site to update on how it is (or not) handled.

We have been with Andrews Lettings, Kingsbury for a number of years and on this occasion, as always we had an outstanding experience. The staffs were extremely helpful, very responsive and their attention to detail was remarkable throughout. Both Lorna and Tara in particular ensured that the whole process was seem less and everything went through smoothly without any issues. We've been with Andrews Lettings for multiple years and moved from Chancellors who became too corporate and removed.<br><br>Andrews and the team have usually been very responsive to our needs and have a good relationship with the tenants too.<br><br>If there was one area that they could improve it would be to be more proactive in recommending how to manage certain tricky situations with the tenants, rather than waiting for the Landlords to suggest what action to take.

I am glad to say thanks to Bozhidar Genchev who helped me and my friend to have good arrangement for two property viewing for the few days before. His efficent response for what we needed sortout everything with our flat. Really good communication, answer for all questions and always smiling. As a tenant I obviously have to liaise with letting agents and sometimes more regularly than other times. This branch of Andrews and its staff I’ve always held in high regard.

Absolutely appalling service from a tenant's perspective, a totally landlord centric agency IMO. At least two members of staff didn't appear to have the sense they were born with. Demands for money for repairs which were the responsibility of the landlord, delays and stalling tactics, asserting the landlord had been contacted when they hadn't ... the list goes on.
Keep records of every communication you have with them and take pictures of every defect you find at the start of your tenancy and also pictures of the flat before you leave as they will deduct a huge amount from your deposit without this evidence.
