This is the worst estate agent I have ever used. I would advise anybody considering using them to think twice. They massively overvalued my property by approximately £90K, and gave poor advice around the presentation of the property. It’s in need of modernisation and needed some carpets put down, windows needed fixing and some lights needed updating. The lady who came out, Ella ,advised I leave the property as it was. After nearly 3 months, 1 viewing, and minimal feedback from Newton Fallowell, I decided to get other valuations from different agents. This showed that the initial valuation and poor advice meant that I was unlikely to sell the property. Newton Fallowell had set my property up to fail. To date I have had no explanation as to why they got this so wrong or a proper apology for messing up. My only conclusion is that the lady from Newton Fallowell did not know what she was talking about. I was expecting knowledge and expertise of the local housing market. What I got was the opposite.
Please be aware that this review is 100% factual and genuine, unlike some of the ‘5star reviews’ that have been posted on here. I advise anybody thinking of using these ‘professionals’ to go elsewhere!
Further to my last review I have had some feedback from Jason Treadwell, a director of NF. In trying to excuse the Miscalculation of my property he makes the same mistakes as his incompetent agents. Unlike NF I did my research. The property used as a guide to value my property was completely different. Double garage, considerably larger floor space. As I have said before NF have screwed up and have admitted no liability. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid!

Slight mishap with the sold board going up in error but as it was needed a mere week later cannot complain! Excellent photos taken of our property by Matt and I truly believe he showcased the house at its best. Very friendly staff :)

As a property maintenance contractor, I have almost daily contact with Alison, the Property Lettings Manager. Alison is always ahead of the game regarding the upkeep of the many properties she is responsible for. She has to co-ordinate a wide range of issues, such as plumbing, decoration, security and safety and is very efficient at administrating the delegation of work in a timely manner. She ensures crucial details of the tasks (including photos) are released expeditiously, allowing the work to be completed quickly and efficiently, to the satisfaction of the tenant and landlord. Top marks for the service provided!

The rent department are awful. The rent manager's communication is atrocious and patronising. The contractor we've asked not to have keeps getting sent. He tells us our toilet is broken and we need a new one. (It's just the flush that's not working) and yet when we try to make arrangements for the repair, the rent manager says that the toilet is fine and the contractor has said it is fine. One of them is lieing and which ever way, is a total waste of my time and our landlords money. I don't see what the gain is here. I've asked for my landlords details in writing, and the rent manager has said I can't have them, which is against my rights as a Tenant. I wouldn't bother renting from these people it's not worth the hassel. It's not my toilet or money so.. I guess I'll have to leave it for the next tenants to sort. Good luck.

We received quite a view viewings and several offers within the first few weeks and we accepted an offer with a month! Once we started the conveyancing process, Adam and his team were in contact often, helped the process move along more than we could have asked for and just made us feel informed and ensured we understood everything. Wow where do I begin I rang regarding a letting at Primrose Close Morton for myself and my elderly Mum who suffers from Alzymers I said I was a full-time carer for my Mum and I was on housing benefit and benefit payments I was told no problem we could apply at present we live in Halifax and need to move to Bourne for support from my Son and Daughter in law so the lady at the lettings team said do you have wattsapp I said yes she said we are doing viewings on 3rd October We could facetime you at 11 .15am and show you the property so today I paid for a private carer to sit with Mum whilst I was doing the virtual viewing at 11 40am I hadn't heard anything so I called the shop a male employee said oh yes there are 7 viewings and 2 virtual viewings I will call the agent and see what's what and call you back so at 12 30 still nothing I emailed the estate agent asking what was going on I got a email back saying I'm out the office till 9th June ???? I rang back at 13 10 I was told we don't do virtual viewings on wattsapp we send you a video of the property which we've done but they hadn't so I said why was I given a 11 15am appointment if you just send a video the employee said I have no idea this has been a joke lead up by the garden path landlords and estate agents treat tenants like something you tread in if you can't send a email with the correct date your back in the office then god help us if your selling and letting our properties you have no customer care or service and if you are going to lie then make sure your all singing off the same hymn sheet because today was a total joke and full of lies and if you wish to challenge what I have said please do I have kept all the emails you sent me and I'm very happy to put them on social media showing my 11 15am appointment AVOID THIS LETTINGS AGENCY AT ALL COST

We bought our property through Newton Fallowell in Bourne following a viewing from Kieran who provides insight to the property, lay out and coatings.
Kieran C helped us to negotiate a price and the price was reduced by 10k.
Kieran C was in contact throughout the long drawn out process that was complex as two properties to sell (our seller moving in with a partner who also had a house to sell).
Kieran was much more helpful than our selling estate agents and even out solicitors - he chased when it want his job to chase - he kept a calm and focussed approach.
If it wasn’t down to Kieran C I feel the move would have fallen through. He is an exceptional estate agent - working for a professional outfit. I would highly recommend NF. For buying and selling - just be careful which solicitors you use as ours were shocking!

Newton Fallowell in Bourne recently dealt with the sale of my house. From the word go they were very professional, healthful and nothing was too much bother. They kept me informed at every stage. Unfortunately on the day of moving due to a problem further down the line myself and my buyers were unable to move into our new homes. I had moved to Norfolk, Kieran was quite concerned about the whole situation and asked me to advise him when I had somewhere to stay sorted out. Probably shouldn’t say it but compared to some other estate agents that I have dealt with in Bourne in the past I would definitely recommend Newton Fallowell to anyone selling their home they did a brilliant job.

For my first house which i just bought in Bourne, I went through Newton Fallowell. Have to say, I was very impressed with their professionalism and support, in particular the sales agent Kieran Chadwick who went above and beyond. He kept me updated and would always respond quickly to all email queries and phone calls. For a first time buyer, there was never any unsolved doubts with him. Towards the end he proactively helped push for exchange and kept me updated throughout when the solicitors didn't. I'd definitely recommend this estate agency for anyone buying a property listed with them.

Poor service generally. They give the impression that they don't care. Poor communication they don't give feedback or chase buyers. I come go on and on. You will pay a lot and get almost nothing. There are much better agents offering a far better service

Newton Fallowell successfully sold my late mother’s bungalow recently. I turned to them as two previous local estate agents had failed to sell the property. They took a more proactive approach to the marketing and created a lot of interest and eventually found the right buyer. The staff were professional whilst maintaining a good rapport with myself. Overall I was very happy with their services in difficult marketing conditions.

"I can only recommend Newton Fallowell (NF) to any buyer or seller of property in South Kesteven. Professionalism, Punctuality, and Price coupled with an insiders knowledge of the market make NF the best firm of estate agents I have ever worked with. Alerted by the fact that a similar house had been sold within 3 days, I contacted NF in Bourne and was not disappointed. Our property sold 8 days after the first appointment with NF before it had even come on the market and for £10,000 more than the almost identical property 3 months earlier. Besides alerting potential buyers, NF provide excellent after sales service, from reccomending solicitors to the completion of all the necessary paperwork and inspections. Their professionalism is outstanding and their punctuality meant that appointments were always kept and phone calls and e-mails always returned or answered promptly. In case you can't be bothered to read the whole review, here's a quick summary:
Newton Fallowell in Bourne are superb. We dealt mainly with Nikki and Jason who are excellent and clearly know their business very well. Very, very highly recommended.
Last year we put our house up for sale with another agent in Bourne and during the first 6 months had only one viewing. During part of this time, the (almost identical) house next door to us was also up for sale but with Newton Fallowell. We were starting to wonder why it was that our neighbours had been having more viewings on their property than us when all of a sudden a "sold" board appeared on their house. This was the trigger for us to ditch the original agent and move to Newton Fallowell, who could quite clearly "deliver the goods". Jason from Newton Fallowell came round to take the photos and agree the contract. Right from the start it was obvious that he "knew his stuff", making recommendations for minor improvements that could help the sale, explaining the process in a very professional manner and taking the best photos that I've ever seen of the house.
The first day that the house went up for sale, Nikki from Newton Fallowell called to say that she had a viewing for us! The people visited and next day they returned for a second viewing and later that same day they put in an offer. Following some negotiation, another offer was accepted and the house was sold.
Newton Fallowell's work didn't end there - they put in a lot of effort between then and completion, chasing solicitors along the chain and providing regular updates, all of which made the process a lot easier for us.

I would recommend Newton Fallowell Bourne branch to any tenant who is looking for a reliable, honest and friendly letting agent. Myself and my partner rented two houses with NF over two years and both experiences have been more than okay. Each time I have received my full deposit back, in my account within 5 working days. With each rent we have had a boiler issues, leak and other maintenance issues. Their online system to book in the repair’s for the landlord is user friendly and repair’s are fixed quickly. Believe I have spoken to most of the team, Lorna, Jason, Nikki and Kate. All seem really friendly and happy to help. Lorna made my end of tenancy really easy and stress free. Excellent Letting Agent. We work closely with a few estate agents doing call outs and making sure the properties are safe for the tenants and new owners, Newton Fallowell are brilliant.
They use technology that means that we get a full report of the issue as it arises and the tenants have the opportunity to put comments and photos etc with it, this means we can work quickly and effectively to make sure that the issue is resolved and the tenants are happy.
On the rare occasion that I haven't had enough information the team are quick to resolve and so friendly that it is never a chore to call them for the information.
I would recommend Newton Fallowell to anyone that is maybe nervous about issues not being resolved quickly by estate agents, first time renters and anyone that wants an easy tenancy.

We were purchasers of a property up for sale with NF, I found their staff very helpful and progressive in getting the transaction over the line. Ours was a relatively small chain but, for various reasons, there were many difficulties and frustrations along the way. Nikki, in particular, kept us informed of what was going on throughout the chain and was more helpful in this respect than our own agents. When completion dates changed at a late stage, she also took it in hand to arrange removal companies.

Cannot recommend Claire or Newton Fallowell enough or my landlord Mark. With such a shortage in the housing market especially for rental properties which are affordable when on a lower income they really did help. Having moved to a new property due to a change in circumstances and needing more space I have realised that not all estate agents are as honest or bother to make sure that properties are in such good condition. I am still cleaning after moving in a week ago. Yet had professional cleaner in and carpets steamcleaned on leaving my property with Claire and Newton Fallowell. Many people are put off by the fees needed or necessity for a guarantor but in my view you really do get what you pay for and I was always looked after very well and was living in a clean comfortable home and allowed my little dog.

I have just completed on the sale of my house with Newton Fallowell Bourne and can honestly say that here is an agent that is getting everything right! This was a matrimonial sale, with a forces help to buy and was not therefore a straight forward sale. From Phil Bells initial visit on the Monday (I hadn't even decided to sell at that point) to an offer on the Friday with a very sweet Richard keeping me updated very regularly thereafter and Chris and Claire the owners keeping an eye on things throughout. I never had to chase, I felt all the way through that they cared about my circumstances and my sale. I felt they were an estate agent I could trust. I have since recommended a friend and they have sold his house too. So if you want an agent that doesn't just dump your house on Rightmove and hope it sells then NF are for you. I didn't have a for sale board and I requested not to go on Rightmove, I was still sold in 48 hours. Top quality job guys. :-)

The worst letting agent i have ever dealt with. Not only do they introduce you to terrible landlords but they lie and try and rip you off.
I let a house off them, and when i complained that the shower was not working i was told that i am moving out in 3 months so to just have a bath!
When i complained i was told it is one of the directors mums and that as i complained i will now be served a section 21 notice to leave.
The worst letting agent ever, the worst experience i have ever had with a letting agent. Be very careful letting off these people, if you can use a more respected letting agent in the bourne area.
