I have to say what an amazing experience i have had dealing with Stamford's Newton Fallowell estate agents , they came highly recommended and certainly lived up to my expectation .
Henry Warren priced my property on the mark , I needed a offer on the table through a time constraint placed on me , I had a total of 14 viewings , 3 separate offers and it sold in 5 weeks , it sold for over the asking price which came down to a good marketing strategy from Henry , I took his advice from the start and it all worked out for me perfectly .
The communication was there from the start they kept me up to date with everything that was happening in the process , totally professional and with great advice when I asked for it, the whole team worked really hard for me and they delivered .
I honestly cannot thank them enough and would absolutely recommend then to anyone in the housing market .

I knocked a star off because, although they were very good as a whole, there were a couple of niggles. Firstly, I was passed their recommendation of conveyance solicitor who would make everything seamless, was top notch, and online only therefore very good value... they were awful. I ended up writing a complaint to the estate agent about them, to which they agreed with my points, and taking my business to a local solicitor who was much more efficient and also cheaper. Yet this cost me more as I had to pay for a small overlap in service whilst I transferred. Clearly it was a commission recommendation and therefore tainted the estate agent experience. Also, I was assured I had a cash buyer with no chain whose parents were helping fund the purchase, only to be told several months in, that the "chain had fallen through". Therefore either the estate agent or I was lied to, but it knocked the experience as a whole.

The house sold fairly quickly which is obviously a great result and the staff had not a great deal to do for the selling fee. We did, however, find them very responsive to all our queries and the phone was always answered immediately on calling the office . They were mostly available to do the viewings , which helped us to get more honest feedback from potential buyers .

At the start I felt I was being dealt with on a professional basis but it soon became clear that this was probably a front to get me to sign up. Wildly optimistic valuations, no real feedback, telephone calls unanswered, messages not passed on and finally a request for meter readings following completion of the sale still not passed on to me 2 weeks later, even though they supposedly have them. I'm afraid Newton Fallowell can be lumped with the vast majority of estate agents who are not as good as they think they are.

Really bad when someone pulls out at the bottom of the chain , especially when this " someone" works within the company. No thought for the others in the chain or the amount of money that they have lost , which to us , comes from our pension pot , never to be recovered. Disappointing experience to say the least.

We were left without electricity due to shoddy work for 3 days, asking for some compensation we were threatened with eviction and no apology made. It has taken 2 months to receive deposit back and blame was automatically made to us for anything wrong with the house. Avoid if you can!

The reason why I instructed Newton Fallowell in the first place was down to the fact that they had the highest audited property sales in the area in 2019 and claims made by the estate agent on his visit. However, this was not reflected in my experience, communication being poor over a 4 months period with the only updates received after I contacted the agent periodically for an update on progress. It became apparent that the agent had little or no success of selling property in my village.
At one stage the excuse given why my individual detached 5 bedroom village property in a fantastic secluded location overlooking fields and a church had not had any viewings or was sold was that a smaller 4 bedroom detached property in an estate location in the village was cheaper and offered better value to a purchaser - "apples and pears" come to mind with this comparison.

The team at Newton Fallowell in Stamford did a great job selling my property. The valuation process was prompt, informative and honest. They got the house on the market quickly with excellent marketing details.
I was kept updated regularly throughout and obtained viewings within a couple of weeks. Feedback was immediate and straight forward and a buyer was found quickly, at a price within the range we had agreed.
They also communicated clearly and regularly through the sale process itself, working with both sets of solicitors the buyer and myself (under tight timescales as both parties wanted to move quickly).
The ultimate compliment I could pay them is that the whole process was completely stress free. I would recommend Newton Fallowell to anyone in the Stamford area thinking of selling their house.

One of those offers led to the sale of my property. All staff do their best to hurry the sale of the property along, especially during the ‘quiet’ period when searches and surveys are being undertaken. Our experience with Newton Fallowell Stamford branch has been terrible. Appalling communication; firstly, my partner and I booked to view 2 properties with Zoe, but we never received any confirmation emails, were not sent the addresses of each property and were not even told which house to meet them at first! As it turns out, they had my partners email address wrong, so he phoned them to correct it (more than once!) and yet still it was not corrected! When we met Zoe at the property, she was very unenthusiastic, barely spoke to us, and answered most questions with a 'yeah' or 'I dunno'. No contact after this first viewing to see how we got on (although, they still probably had not used our correct email address despite us telling them). A few weeks later, we saw another 2 properties we would like to see, both with Newton Fallowell again (unfortunately). After calling and booking the viewing for one after the other for 12.30pm today, I again received no confirmation and no details of which property to go to first. I called them the day before to enquire about this, and also I had seen that one of the properties had come off the market, which we had also not been told. I was informed by Zoe that they had emailed the details to my partner, AGAIN to the wrong email address, and she said she would meet us at the one remaining property at 1pm. I stressed that we could only do a viewing at 12.30pm (as we had previously arranged), as we had another property to see afterwards. After what seemed like a lot of effort, it was agreed that the viewing would be at 12.30pm. My partner and I sat outside the property until approx. 12.40pm-12.45pm, and NOBODY TURNED UP. No phone call to say they were running late, no apology, no nothing. Eventually we had to leave so that we were not late for our next viewing.
I feel that our entire experience with Newton Fallowell Stamford has been completely unacceptable, and we were made to feel completely unimportant as buyers by such unprofessional behaviour. We will not be using Newton Fallowell again in the future, and shall be advising others to do the same. Extremely disappointing.

The Stamford Team have been wonderful. My special thanks goes to Nikki Touze; she is a very professional woman with a strong sense of 'client care'. She spoke to me almost every day and kept me updated with the events and news throughout. It was not an easy sale, as there were a number of difficult situations. Nikki remained positive and focused, which enabled me to deal with my mother's death and selling her much-loved property. Newton Fallowell is by far the best estate agency I've come across in Stamford and I wish them every Good Luck for the future.

The best estate agent in Stamford hands down and in fact the best agent I have ever used (and I have used a few across the country). You will get a friendly, professional team that will not tell you lies, will not over price your property just to get your business. Every member of the team is approachable and willing to offer the best advice for your circumstances. We have now sold with them twice and will be selling with them again. They sold one property for us in a couple of weeks after a different agent couldn’t sell it in 5 months. The whole team has always gone the extra mile for us and I can not recommend them more highly. Just the difference when you walk into their office compared with every other agent I have been in does not compare. The guys are interested in you and what you need from them wether buying or selling.

Best estate agent in Stamford by miles!
They sold our house within days and they were so helpful throughout the whole transaction. They even got involved and helped us with a house purchase (through another agent) which they really didn't need to do. They absolutely went the extra mile for us.
Overall a fantastic experience and I wouldn't hesitate to buy or sell with them again.

As a buyer I felt bullied from the beginning to the end of the sale. The buying experience was very negative, they were very unsupportive to the buyer although the seller never kept his word, was disgustingly dirty and lied throughout the process.
As a buyer I could not recommend them.
I could have sold my house through them and I am glad that I did not as I would now be mortified if they had treated my buyer the same way as I had been treated by them.
